My very own mild mannered brother calls him a rude name. But then my brother is not known for his love of touchy feely management styles.
personally, I love it when I have a manager who portrays that they like me, they are genuinely interested in me and my life outside work. Managers who don’t acknowledge you have a life outside the day job are never going to get the best out of me.
I like Paul Warne, as a person, I think he’s a decent guy. -

This statistic is the real 'stupendous' part of our run, not only have we not conceded from open play since October, I am struggling to remember many top drawer saves by Wildsmith during this same period.
Could this be the reason for his less than perfect performance last night, although he did really collect well another free kick with two forwards ready to pounce, which would have made it 3 nil? I know from experience how difficult it is to maintain concentration when playing goal for a team with an excellent defence. Wildsmith is playing week in week out, not having anything to do and it's bound to have an effect on his match sharpness.
It was his birthday the day before I believe, so I think he was suffering from a food hangover, he looked a bit dopey in his interview

Just know that, just because you are the dad, you can do nothing right in the first weeks. This isn’t as bad as it seems, mum will be confused, exhausted and overwhelmed too, she still loves you.
Accept offers of help, don’t be too proud. Grandparents will treat that baby like the most precious thing in the world, let them help.
you’re going to be tired beyond endurance, because even if they don’t wake up for feeds, you will need to go check they’re ok!
You will be filled with the most amazing love for her but if she goes out into the world an independent and happy girl you will have done a great job. -

I haven't watched Avatar all the way through. I went to the cinema to see it, so the intent was there but slept through a good deal of it and never felt the need to see it again. See also Gone Girl and Tenet (though these last two were on my own telly).
I slept through Thd Kings Speech.
I actually didn’t hear any speech for a day or two, he stopped speaking to me for embarrassing him -

I wish this forum had a ‘you’re tedious’ button. I agree with the OP, I usually pop in and quickly out again as the thread I’m interested in has descended into a boring playground spat

You lost your argument mate. Well and truly. Your a Forest fan who comes on here with a few facts. Your much vaunted Garibaldi lost to us that year and finished 27 places below us.
He lost his argument when he wrote ‘to all intensive purposes’

I stopped watching the premier league a few years ago, it’s not football. I do still go to Pride Park, but not sure how much of that is through habit and family time. I don’t even bother much with England. I’ve let Sky go, I watch Derbyshire cricket on YouTube. Sky started the greed and top heavy way the leagues are now, in my opinion.
I go to watch local football occasionally, players playing for the love of the game, not the money. -
Awful news, devastating for his poor family, I hope they know how much he meant to his fellow fans. He was unique, one of a kind, staying strong and positive because he truly believed in the club. Rest in peace Daniel.

I’m not saying I’m pro or anti Warne, but yesterday was a 3rd division side beating another 3rd division side on their own turf. I don’t subscribe to the ‘we should be beating these teams’ view either. Why? We’re a recent train wreck without a pot to pee in. Aging, injury prone players who I’m sure Warne doesn’t instruct to play wayward passes or squander chances.
Warne was appointed on his recent successes, which a lot of people are given jobs for in any industry.- europia, Inverurie Ram and MarsdenRam

Can't blame him, I come and have a look around, but really can't be bothered to post most of the time because of all the tit for tat going on.
Me too. I rarely spend more than a minute or two now, pages of boring one upmanship and squabbling

Pets aren’t just dogs. My cats are genuinely scared. If they have the capability to make silent pretty fireworks why don’t they just do that?

Ok so you tell me within his 1 year tenure what he has done to improve Derby County because maybe I am missing something?
It’s not that, it’s been done to death. Every other comment is an insult about the manager, mostly by some bore who thinks they’re witty.
abuse is not ok, not even football managers.

He's just said on the radio two absolutely astounding things.
"We only have two or three players at the club with electric pace [...] who can play counter attacking football"
"If we played like that at Pride Park we'd get booed off at half time"
Why does he have to ruin every good moment he manages to create?
The players get clapped off the pitch at full time every single game at Pride Park. Half time, there would not have been booing if we had played that first half where we kept it tight and then created some good chances.
Why does he treat the fans of this club with such utter disdain and contempt every time he speaks?
Oh, at a guess, I’d say it’s because that’s how they treat him

Cant believe people are arguing and point scoring. We won 4-2 away at "Posh". FGS just wind your necks in and enjoy it for what it is 🐏🐏🐏
Completely agree. Imagine, some poor sods live with these bores.

Doesn’t bother me but I don’t sit near it. I quite like it, but I wish we had better songs that everyone can sing, some of them I either don’t want to sing (NML) or I can’t pick up the words. But when I read yet another thing being cancelled because a small minority object my heart sinks. If you don’t like something now you complain, add a bit of a ‘it’s damaging my health’ type whinge and lo and behold, it’s gone.

They turned up comfortable on the ball, faster, smoother, more confident etc. A bit annoyed we couldn’t hold on for the draw, but they were better than us today. Hey ho.
