Sadly that was the same for me especially with Eric Steele. I have been able to listen to the commentary of away games recently but today briefly turned it on but only lasted a couple of minutes. It always sounds so negative and leaves me feeling depressed and angry. I’m aware some like it but I’m not one of them.
Exactly how I feel. I’ve been enjoying the commentary recently for the games I can’t get to, now I will be switching off again. So annoying

He ruined the match commentary on the radio for me today. Never like it when miserable Eric Steele is on either. Switched it off.

Not happy that they’ve gone up. I know they haven’t increased in years etc etc but that’s a lot of money for 2 adults on the sidelines.

Maybe it was a case of 'sausage fingers' when selecting the emoji?
It was! I’m as shocked as anyone by the emoji. Oops!

I loved the humour of our fans. I can’t stand Steve Evans and ‘fat boy, fat boy what’s the score’ was funny.
Loved the atmosphere today and the fans and team raised their game second half, it felt like one of those times when we all believed it was going to be ok.- SKRam and uttoxram75

Now I’m old I see what some people write (or hear what they say) and think ‘hmm really’. Then I get on with my day. The burning desire to put them right has long gone.

Take your point....
But the NHS is under strain not because of King Charles getting cancer....but the deluge of 'mental health' issues, parents wanting diagnosis instead of looking towards their own parenting first, people wanting compensation for car accidents, millions of missed appointments, the obesity crisis etc etc
There’s a small army at the NHS looking out records for patient claims. It’s a wonder any clinician dare begin to treat anyone for fear of being sued
-
The trouble with the NHS is that it is now expected to be everything to everyone. I really believe that there are lots of things that, if you want them, you pay for them. You keep taking more out than goes in and you get what you now have - impossible situation. And I work in the NHS.

Like one of those they wear at basketball games in America, except this one has coffee in

How come Burton can always fill their dressing room but we struggle

Proper fed up about this abysmal showing. Shocking, we beat ourselves by being so utterly sloppy

I'm going to try to tempt fate to help us by saying that I'm struggling to remember a worse performance.
Sure I’ve said that before this season, more than once

We’ve been winning when playing poorly. Tonight we’re doing the playing poorly and losing, which we deserve

Surely the post Christmas collapse isn’t coming back this season

Rivalry aside, I’m glad about this. I’m tired of hearing about misdemeanours by any club going unpunished.

First thought ‘oh no, slump here we come’ and the pain of losing to Burton.
Second thought ‘well done Paul’

Not at all. I’d like them to stop all the ‘this is what they should have done’ and actually tell me what is happening. Preferably with less doom in the voice.
‘it’s only a matter of time’ is one of his doom laden comments for example.
