  1. As soon as I knew blah blah were interested it was a no brainer. Yeah no end of footballers have no brain

    midfield general

    spine of the team

particularly grating - ‘the man at the helm’. You’re not boating!

I'd imagine you'll only have a week or so, if that?  🤷‍♂️

Wouldn't surprise me to be up and running by next Monday, now we know what league we'll be in?  They'll have already sorted the pricing out, behind the scenes.

I should think there’ll be a window where existing seats are held. Well I hope so. I need a bit of time to get it out of my system

  3. Being able to plan a break without the niggling fear of strikes meaning I can’t get there, or will be delayed.
pubs with no kids in (yeah I know I’m miserable and I did bring up kids)

being able to find clothes and shoes in lots of shops so I can try on and not buy online

  4. I’m still remembering going to Millmoor amongst its terraced streets and the ladies toilets being hard to find, with a big queue at half time and a big fat spider glaring at me. Think it still had a pull chain too.
I don’t want that but I don’t think I want to be smartened up too much either. Football is already being removed from the pastime of ordinary people and turned into a sparkly spectacle

Whether it's us or the opposition, the time wasting diving and play-acting does my head in to the point I'm on the verge of giving up on football altogether. Just got rid of Sky and BT sports for that reason. It has to be got out of the game somehow. I can't be bothered watching as a neutral any more.

Could have written this myself. I can take Derby not playing very well, I can almost take poor officials, but play acting and time wasting absolutely infuriates me. I don’t go to sit there fuming, it’s not very healthy. I don’t watch the premiership anymore either.

  6. I know I won’t be popular for saying this, but I don’t have much enthusiasm for a play off spot. You want to be going in on a run of good form, not a big dip.
Wembley against Villa was soul destroying, we gathered in Covent Garden having gathered the troops, sang and danced, then arrived at Wembley to find ourselves out sung, less organised and let down by Frank. We peaked too soon.
I want us to go up from 1st or 2nd next year. If that could be arranged. Thank you.

When they had that run of 3 wins in four, beating Saints, Leeds and Leicester I thought they’d cruise to safety.

But the more you analyze it, the more you realize how the easier games are gone.

Their easiest games left were Everton (H), Wolves (H), Leeds (A) and Southampton (H).

Three down and only two points. All three became harder games too because of the managerial changes.

It’s late in the day for those managerial moves, but I think they could be in time to just sink the mighty reds.

    I love Mitrovic.

Genuinely love his aggression. He overstepped the mark I suppose.

But you touch the ref in an aggressive way you know you’re going to get a red card.
his aggression isn’t channelled in the right way
