Looking through the squads I find it hard to muster up any negativity towards the 90s players except for perhaps Mikkel Beck... just remember groaning a lot every time the ball went his way. I remember suggesting to an older colleague that he was the worst Derby player I'd seen, to which he replied 'You weren't watching in the grim early 80s!'

I'm told Pickering was bad... though my only memory of him was that he was impossible to get hold of in Pro Set cards... along with Trevor Hebberd for some reason.

Scored the winner at Old Trafford in 89/90 too.

I admire the work done by the fans and the group's especially black and white and Punjabi rams. More strength to their elbows. BUT last night on twitter Black and While invited Kirchener to speak on Monday night on a Twitter marketplace. The WHY is totally beyond me. Yesterday like him or not MM came in with an offer which might well save our Rams who are tottering on a knife edge of oblivion. As fans we need to be patient, let team Derby and the country's MPs, who are on our side, put pressure on the EFL Gibson and MM to get an agreement that his offer will bring us out of this nightmare. We certainly don't want anybody rocking the boat. I take it that CK is an honourable man but shall we say slightly miffed with people at Derby. What good can come out of letting him have free range on what he discloses some of which might start the boat rocking. I am all for free speach but lack and white PLEASE PLEASE rethink the wisdom behind you decision for Monday night and postpone it until after

we are safe. He has had since December to air his feelings and hours after a possible step forward to save our team is scary to me. #savederbycounty

    Agree with this.

Presumably if the two clubs don’t take up MMs offer then he could indemnify the bidders against any costs resulting from the claims thereby removing the perceived risk to the new owners.

Yes was thinking the same. I'm pessimistic that the parasites will agree to this so there's always this way around. Either way, the phone must be red hot tonight between Gibson, Parry and Couhig as they conspire to prepare a reply. Pathetic.

  4. Could it be that the administrators are already pushing for the high court and steps are being taken/in process and thus the nasties - EFL and Boro know this and are rushing out statements in a last ditch desperate attempt to get somewhere/save face as they know soon it's all going to come crashing down and be chucked out? Parasite Gibson's statement shifting the focus again back on to the stadium argument suggests their original claim is dead and their clinging on to anything by their grubby fingertips.

I think they know its over for them all.

Take them to the high court, get it laughed out and then counter sue the hell out of them all guns blazing.

We will win this. We will survive and thrive.

  5. He can do better than them. Will terrify defenders in Italy though. Saddened by this. We're investing developing players that then don't see a future with us. Total shambles.

The only positive from Morris's tenure now being stripped.

Let's be honest, Melvyn Morris has absolutely ruined this football club from top to bottom. It's so bad, it's conceivable he's been a florest fan all along.

Don't get the scenario......Mel has left us in this position, he should find a solution. Reducing the asking price for the stadium or not asking anything would be nice. And he should pay the fees of the Administrators too.....

They're different points. Agree, most of this is down to Morris's utter incompetence. You were suggesting handing over money to the two parasite clubs based on their ridiculous claims. I firmly believe we shouldn't. The claims are laughable to say the least. Paying these is an admission of guilt and sets a precedence for the whole of football. In effect hammering in the final nails in its coffin.

If you think about it Mel could sort this in 5 minutes. He drops the stadium price by 7 million to prospective new owners, that money pays off the blood sucking parasites and the takeover is good to go. But Mel's ego is as big as the Gibbon's so he would rather see the Rams go to the wall than end the feud he has with the joker. I hate the thought of Boro getting a penny but this could be resolved pretty quickly....

If I keep bothering you to give me some of your money. Say everyday I call twice and asks for it. When it gets to the point it becomes irritating, will you pay me?

its nearly 3 o clock in the morning and the same things keep going round and round in my head....how on earth is this going to be sorted??? After the EFL statement last night I really think we are now basically being backed into a corner to try and negotiate a deal against two parasite chairman and only 7m is the supposed figure that will make them happy!!?

Where on earth has any compensation   figures been calculated from ? Its a farce why not make it 100 million ? 200 million?

These claims must not be entertained or even considered and why?? For the sake of the very game we fans love...Football....

The EFL should be protecting the game and its clubs but it is corrupt as hell and has zero interest in looking after the game itself....If those claims from parasite clubs is given any creedance Football is ducked!

Every club could sue another club for any misdemeanors or so called breaking of the rules and this cannot happen

On one hand the EFL are saying that the actual Insolvency law is not relevant as they have there own rules signed by 72 football clubs and saying we are hiding behind insolvency yet cannot quash or tell the parasites that we have been punished with a 21 point deduction

Gibson and Boro are the poison here make no mistake he threatened to sue the EFL then was apeased by the EFL saying they would go after us!!!! and he's right behind them pulling the strings no doubt!!

We are in admin FFS and the admin team are here to do there job and try and sort creditors but yet the EFL are saying we should meet and negotiate and deal with two other clubs!! Its none of there business who we owe money too yet Gibson seems to know all about our business who we owe how much etc etc .....I would tell the EFL that parasites like Gibson and WW bloke are not welcome at Derby County FC ...No negotiations and if we ever ( and its looking less and less likely ) get out of this mess both Chairman are banned from PP

We are a founder member Football club who have contributed a lot to the history of our game so stop treating us like poo on your shoe....30,000 fans on sunday and we are bottom....both tinpot parasite clubs on a good day wouldn't get that many fans with both attendances added together

I cannot see a way out but the hatred i feel for parasites like Gibson I've never felt for anyone to be honest.....a horrible little man who thinks sueing everyone is the way...this is what he also done to a team playing in the local church league because he said they had copied the boro team badge...bloke is total and utter disgrace and if all chairman were like him the game would soon cease to exist because so many would go out of business.....

GROW SOME BALLS EFL AND TELL BORO AND WW TO DROP THE CLAIMS OR THEY WILL HAVE POINTS DEDUCTED THEMSELVES!???? SAFEGUARD THE GAME ITSELF AND HELP CLUBS RATHER THAN HELP OTHERS WHO ARE DESTROYING OUR GAME!

Great Post. But the EFL won't do a damn thing. They'll protect themselves but not the game. They're killing it for everyone. High court immediately, take it our of their hands.

Still immensely proud to have been a part of the march.Henceforth that day should be celebrated as 'THE DAY THE RAMS ROARED' !!!!!

P.S. when can we do it again?

Every home match until the end of the season with the same vigor and gusto, surely. That'll get their attention at the cesspit offices of the EFL in Preston. ?

  10. Risk Parry said a week or so ago that arbitration had started last January and it had been held up. The interviewer didn't ask to explain why this had been held up but he was 'finger pointing' and blaming others.

I still don't know if it has or hasn't started despite sending emails and receiving zero replies to this question. I'm not even sure they know its current status.

It's a shitshow, purposely made to be confusing and adhoc in order to protect themselves.

  11. A nothing club, barring a league cup win, won nothing in their history. And this from a club in the second largest city in the country. A joke. An embaresment.  With a population of more than a million, terrible, terrible attendances and support. Living in the shadow has never been so apt for a club. No wonder Aston Villa and WBA mock them, they really are the poor cousin. They're a joke, a blip on the football landscape, contributing very little, if anything, to the great game and its history. The Millwall of the Midlands.

  12. Hope I'm desperately wrong but still think the EFL have one or two more vindictive twists of the knife left in them before things progress. They are desperate we go down but a couple of wins in the next 3/4 games and it's game on. They know that so will  try to gain a bit more advantage before they have to cut loose. I detest them (and Morris) more than I've ever detested anything in my life. Need a holiday....
