Might get CM back on the cheap
I think we'd be mad as a box of frogs to go back in for him. That ship sailed donkeys years ago. Would prefer to stick with Plange.

If we stay up because three other teams get points deductions then I’m giving up on football.
If they all broke the 'rules' in the same way we did and it makes our job of staying up that bit easy, then I'll be popping the ?
Football is totally broken, we can all see it. Just have to try and stay in the Championship and ride it out while it falls apart around us.

I think the Baggies will have this one 2-0..

I could help with all of the £5m, but in a Nigerian Prince and have millions of $ if only I could access it. All I need is $10,000 to be able to do this.
If you could be so good as to transfer to me that small amount then I would be able to invest many millions in your wonderful and exciting scheme
Don't believe you. Your grammar and spelling are far too good!

Seems that some folk have forgotten about the embargo restrictions that we've been operating under : squad size, wage size contract length, fees allowed (none), loan deals no longer than 1/2 season when most clubs (and the players themselves) want their kids to have a full year out and most don't want them to go to relegation certainties - and it comes across like they're just doubling down on their opinion of Rooney. It feels quite disingenuous.
Absolutely agree here. I also think that Rooney, if he could bring anyone in, wanted experienced, seasoned pros to compliment our own youngsters/be mentors to them in what we all knew was going to be a very difficult season.

I agree, not a scooby doo, football means absolutely everything to the city of Derby and its people. It's in everyone's blood there. The first and last thing the majority of people talk about, always. Quite simply, not many places like it anywhere. Cloughie knew.

There's only one person to blame for all of this, one..
He's lied to us, conned us and left us high and dry.
The EFL are applying rules that are in place for every single club.
We've lost more than we should.
Morris tried to flount the rules, failed and left us.
Putting us in administration was the final nail.
But if you wanna sing F the EFL for applying punishments to us for breaking rules that we knew were there and knew what the punishment would be then go ahead.
Personally I don't think it's a case of picking one side over another. We are all aware of the absolute carnage MM has created and caused whilst at the same time, it's pretty obvious that the EFL, while having it in for MM, and subsequently us, have been nasty, vindictive and disgustingly protectionist of their own 'institution' and have failed at every step to safeguard the club's best interests (as they say they do) to ensure that this fine club can survive and move forward. Their behaviour, like MM's has been utterly appalling.
I'm staggered that some people can think the EFL have behaved perfectly fine and justified throughout this whole process.

Absolutely stunning @loweman2. I want to wear it but simultaneously want to frame it. Thanks so much for this…it makes 1884 seem like yesterday.
Looks really great. Think I missed this as would probably have put my name down for one.
Congrats. Lovely.

I think we should keep 3 upfront when defending corners anyhow!
4, or even 5 taken out of our box to cover them if the ball is cleared.
A man after my own heart. Have never understood the logic of having everyone back in the six yard box.
This game needs to be more about messing with the oppositions' heads rather than playing to accepted norms and procedures.
Imagine winning a corner in the 3rd minute and Roos goes up! You're telling me that's not going to slightly twist their thinking.

Tactics for the foreseeable. Just go for it and make a mockery of what football is prescribed to be. Put 5 in attack. Keep 3 players upfront when defending corners. Send our goalie up for every corner etc. Try it and see how it goes. Might unsettle a few. If.no change after a few games, prepare the youngsters for next season. Except Boro and florest of course.

I maintain Curtis Davies is not the answer he’s far too slow and his distribution is poor at best.
We have to play Shinnie to defend .
Curtis Davies is also all for himself at expense of others IMO
I think Curtis has had a pretty good season so far. I think most would agree. We understand his strengths and know his age is against him. What he brings to the squad away from the 90 mins on a Sat and Wed is priceless to a young, inexperienced squad right now and is worth the payout alone.
There are not many more in the squad, If any, that I have more respect for right now.

Agreed i would rather take all our EFL punishment now, get relegated and see were we are come start of next season hopefully with new owners. My concern is League one is no easy get out Look at Sunderland and it took Florist a few seasons to get back up
You'd be writing in German or more than likely not existing if our forefathers had this same attitude. Bonkers.

I thought for a while now that 352 is the best fit for us, With Festy and Buchannen/Dylan Williams being the attacking wing backs. Stearman or Buchannen/Fozzy as the third central defender. Bird, Shinnie and Knight/Ravel make up the three with Beilik to come back and CKR and Baldock/Stretton up top. Nice balance of youth, experience and commitment.

So, no It didn’t. Ok. Got It.
can’t believe you are sticking up for the bloke who ha ruined this club but hey ho.So we should accept the 12 points to prove what a shister MM was? Madness. We should fight on if there is a glimmer we can reduce or remove it. You must accept that the pandemic was an unplanned, unpredictable event that has surely had a massive impact on revenues? You have to. Saying no other clubs have been affected and gone into administration thus far is nonsense as you do not know any of their accounts. One club has to be the first and sadly its us. Due to MM being a shister and then more recently the pandemic.

Spot on RoyMac5. Any 'fan' to knowingly put their own club into administration is guilty as charged. Most of us would probably put our modest houses up as collateral to avoid this but the multi-multi millionaire shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
By the way, I'm still not convinced he personally lost a great deal out of all of this and certainly nowhere near the 200 million touted.
I don't know how he shuts his eyes and sleeps at night. The guilt alone would ruin me.
