I don’t believe our anonymous Mr Clowes is strong enough to replace our inept manager, his clearly inept coaching team and recruitment team. I would be happy to write off this season if we found investors, formed a proper board, got rid of Warne and his immediate team and start again. We are heading nowhere at the moment. I can take a loss but our football is disorganised and woeful.

I would just love to experience something similar to the Jim Smith era again.
Going into games against Man U and Arsenal expecting to get something from the game.
Seeing players like Eranio, Wanchope, Taribo West etc etc....being linked with the likes of Baggio, Costacurta, Suker etc etc.
It would be great to have a fairly long period of time where Derby County are in the headlines for their football, rather than for controversy.
Although I would settle for Derby to actually start selling Singha lager, finally and for Zan fish to return to the north stand!

Absolute rubbish, Ipswich, Sheff Wednesday and Derby are all regarded big clubs at division one level, all commanded plus 25K gates in this division Derby was 27K, and is around the same again this season, all teams have played at the top level for a good chunk of there history, as for Wrexham 10K fans, and spent most of there time out of the top division. So no way does Wrexham have the biggest pull, a ridiculous comment to make.

For me, Derby is a craphole. It has become worse over time. The city centre is ugly apart from one small area the cathedral quarter and sadler gate. Outside of this is dreary, with either a despairing or aggressive atmosphere. The theatre is in an all but abandoned part of an indoor shopping centre. The assembly rooms stands empty on the edge of the most boring and featureless market place. There are hardly any decent restaurants, few independent shops and derbion is soulless. We've not opened up the river in a pleasant way and the river gardens are not safe. We blocked the view of St Mary's Church from some approaches with a ghastly hotel.  It is badly planned and increasingly barren.  All that is being built are apartments and university buildings that dont seem sustainable.  There is little to do there.  It looks like a town in recession. Its in a hideous spiral of decline. Sadly, I'd prefer to be in almost any other city. For me, its only saving graces are DCFC, its proximity to the  Derbyshire countryside and the people i love. So, in your view, why isn't it a craphole?

I agree that sometimes the service he gets isn't great, but he has to take some responsibility for that as his positioning where they can find him is also appalling, as is his movement in front of goal.

Is our manager strong enough to rip into them, or does he still want to be pals with the team.
We look as if we are playing the worst team in the league, but don’t have to put the effort in to beat them.
Second half will be interesting if Mr Warne has had a serious chat.

I don’t hate Paul Warne, I don’t dislike Paul Warne, I just don’t rate Paul Warne and can’t stand listening to him. This isn’t a new thing for me, it’s how I have felt for about 5 years now.
I am now trying my very hardest to appreciate him, and results like that on Tuesday and away to Peterborough help me with that. If he gets us up this season I will acknowledge and enjoy the achievement, but I have said it a few times before that I think any broadly competent coach ought to be able to get this squad up this season. We have a strong squad in a very weak league.
However, I still don’t think whatever happens that his football is ever going to be particularly pretty or organised and for that reason I do hope if he does get us promoted we still consider replacing him with someone with a record of achievement in the Championship. If he fails for a second season he should be sacked regardless.
    Up the Rams!

The criticism was all to do with the horrible football Warne had them playing, the constant giving the ball to the opposition to play with. The last two games have had far more control, and as a result more enjoyable to watch.
I don't expect us to be attacking or keeping the ball for an entire match, and I do enjoy a good defensive display as well, but some of the football we were dishing up was an affront to football.

The criticism of Warne from most has been the style of football, Warneball which to many is hoofball.
There was not even a hint of hoofball today.  We played the sort of football a Liam team would’ve played. Which renders the Warne ball narrative void doesn’t it (I’d argue particularly at home since his arrival it hasn’t been hoofball and people have been seeing what they want to see to fit their Warneball narrative)
But in trying to play “the right way” today, while our build up play was decent for the most part (could’ve been quicker), it all fell down in the final 3rd. We created 3 excellent chances and should’ve taken at least one to win the game. But while we created numerous promising situations we didn’t create any more than 3 chances, and that isn’t enough.
Balance in midfield is wrong. Not sure about Waghorn as a 10. But I’m hopeful with players getting fit we’ll get that sorted. Fornah is an excellent player at this level especially I think him and Bird could be some partnership. Nyambe is class, cash and nelson starting to look a real partnership, get Elder fit he takes over from Foz and we probably have the best back 4 in the league.
Still say I’m waiting until after the Port Vale game until either maintaining my current support of Warne or turning into a dissenter. But I will say my 6 year old is trying to get into football at the moment and into Derby County, she’s trying really hard and genuinely showing interest, but with the lack of chances and action particularly at home games right now, Derby county are really making it f****** difficult!!
