I'm working off the assumption they're off... they're too good for L1 after all. If any stay then it's a massive boost! Ending up with something like this:

    Wildsmith, GK, Foulkes

    RB, RB

    Davies, Chester, Cashin, Stearman

    LB, Forsyth

Thompson, Johnson, Hourihane, CM, CM, Huddlestone

    Sibley, Barkhuizen, Mendez-Laing, Sotona

    McGoldrick, Kazim, Stretton, Cybulski

5 contract extensions and 12 signings if the 5 you list leave.

    Who’s Sotona?

Where is this about Ashley being in pole position and having multiple interested parties?

“Mike Ashley, the former Newcastle owner, is now in pole position to complete a deal and is seeking exclusivity from Quantuma with the fixtures for the 2022/23 season to be announced next week.

Steve Morgan, the former Wolves chairman, is also back in the frame after registering his interest in the last 24 hours.”

  3. I’m a very casual cricket fan and managed to bag a couple of free tickets through the missus’ work to go last night, and I have to say I really enjoyed the performance by Derbyshire and the evening as a whole.

It made me step back and realise that’s exactly how sport should be viewed and how much of a downer it has been following Derby’s woes off the pitch these past couple of years.

Sport shouldn’t be about accounting policies and legal battles between other clubs, it’s about enjoying the moment with friends and family win, lose or draw.

Will be looking to go again soon!

  4. Quantuma have released statements to the press quite a few times around 6pm on a Friday in the past if memory serves me right, so maybe the same happens tonight? Who knows?

It would also tie in to the start of Sport Scene on Radio Derby, too. Let’s see.

  5. Opened contract talks with Davies, according to Nixon’s Patreon.

Hoping to get an agreement next week.

Bristol City and Hull still both keen to sign him but it’s expected we’ll be allowed to sign players in the next few days when the takeover is finalised.

Contact has also been made with existing members of the squad and new players as we look to add and improve to key areas.

Scott Twine - 20 goals and 13 assists from midfield in league 1. No penalties either.

    Cole Stockton

    Matt Taylor

    Marquee signings

£3m rated Scott Twine who has got all the top clubs in the Championship chasing him?

We’re going to be under a very strict business plan for the foreseeable future, as per EFL rules.

People need to tamper their expectations on who and how much we are able to spend over the next 2/3 transfer windows.

I’d be amazed if we signed anything other than free agents and loan deals next season.
