He also says an agreement over the tax bill will form part of the negotiations once the preferred bidder is announced, which could be this week. A CVA looks to be the way to exit admin.

Weren’t Gadsby and GSE involved in a bit of a squabble after the club was sold in 07/08, with PG citing that promised investment hadn’t been made by GSE and he regretted selling the club to them? 

Unless they’ve made up, I’d be very surprised if they joined together to acquire the club.

Although saying that, the bid from Appleby looks to be alongside a mystery US backer including Rush and Moxey to spearhead executive roles, if reports are to be believed, so it could well be a completely different dynamic this time around.

We aren’t a great side by any means, but I’d love us to throw caution to the wind a bit and have a go at these.

Bristol City are a pretty ordinary side and we’re showing far too much respect.

All a bit negative and safe when in position at the moment.

No less than QPR deserved. Dominated the whole of the 2nd half.

They’re a very, very good team with some extremely talented individuals.

Too many players having an off day for us tonight, which is understandable after the heroics against Bournemouth and Fulham.

Think Rooney could have been slightly more proactive with his substitutions as it was clear we were tiring around the hour mark.

No complaints from me, though. What we lacked in quality in the final third, we made up with our usual endeavour and work rate.

Does anyone know if the 11am press conference from the administrators is being streamed live anywhere? Or is it just being broadcast on Radio Derby?

The latest from John Percy reports that MSD will have a big say who the administrators will be and that any takeover could take up to 2 months to materialise.

There is also a number of interested parties waiting to make their move, apparently.

I’m sure I read around January/February time that clubs that failed to pay their wages on time, albeit once, aren’t then entitled to the payment?
