  1. What did we end up buying him for last summer? Was it around the £3.5m mark?

I think anything close to that or more and he’ll probably be off, if reports are to be true. If it helps us fill up the squad in the final few weeks of the window (embargo permitting) then I don’t think it’s a deal we can really afford to turn down.

There’s certainly potential and an exciting player in there, but I don’t see it being unlocked in this league and current Derby team, unfortunately.

The club is in crisis. On the eve of a new season without a squad.

Steve Nicholson regurgitates Alan Nixon's stories and the Punjabi Rams tweets. With nothing added, no investigative journalism at all.

Ed Dawes from Radio Derby is asking for mock ups of Messi in a Derby shirt.

That's our local press. The ones we should rely on to get answers.

    We're a joke.

Hit the nail firmly on the head.

I think back to when both Wigan and Bolton were in their plights and how hard the local press up there fought for answers and information in those situations.

A journalist from the local press was even banned from Bolton‘s stadium for a period of time (IIRC) for probing too far. Still, they continued to fight on behalf of the supporters.

Can anyone honestly say they’d expect the same from ours? I can’t, sadly.

I've just registered again using my work email and set myself up again and it's worked.

I've selected the print at home option.

Does it just get emailed to you? How does it work?

Yeah, you’ll receive an email within minutes of purchasing with the tickets attached as PDF format at the bottom of the email.

I've logged in with my fan number mate. Password.

Comes up says Welcome and my name.

Do the tickets, get to the checkout, press proceed and then it says I need to log in.

Not sure if it’ll have any effect, but maybe try signing into a different browser (Microsoft Edge/Chrome) and see if the same issue crops up? Worth a go in case it’s a glitch attributed to your cache.

Failing that, I’d tweet the DCFC SLO on Twitter to say you’ve emailed the ticket office numerous times and they’ll prioritise your query if it’s for tickets your purchasing for the Huddersfield game. I did the same today and they got back to me within the hour after not hearing anything back from them since emailing on Monday.

  5. As @Rammy03said, as long as the players are putting in maximum effort win, lose or draw they’ll always have support from the stands. It’s the people at the top who I, like many, are sick to the stomach with.

I’m by no means Wayne Rooney’s biggest fan, and ultimately don’t think he’ll be the man to take this club forward in the long term, but the people above him are giving him absolutely no chance of succeeding in the job.

WR said in his post-match interview/presser after the Sheffield Wednesday game that circumstances HAD to change from that evening onwards. Two months on, we’re in the exact same position. You could argue that it’s even worse, as the squad is even more depleted since the loanees returned to their parents club and with others being released.

How has this been allowed to continue?

After scraping survival by the skin of our teeth the season before, we’re now heading into an Championship season with no recognised central defenders contracted to the club.

We’re a football club that’s in complete freefall and theres no signs coming out of the club that will end any time soon. MM and SP deserve every bit of criticism (not abuse, let’s make that clear) heading their way. It’s shocking management and the sooner they both move on, only then will this club move in the right direction.
