Totally agree, wish P W wouldnt be in the media so much as well. Just keep quiet and get on with the job.

He’s literally been in the media as much as any other manager up and down the country is required to do. No more and no less.

Pre and post match press conferences and then interviews with in-house media and radio/television.

I don’t get the accusations being thrown his way that he talks too much. Fans complain if a manager is a dullard with no personality or if he’s got a quirky personality who comes out with one liners here and now. He can’t win!

  2. Really don’t get all the vitriol I’m seeing online.

Any other night it finishes 0-0 and we go home relatively happy with a point away from home against a side in the top 2 with two home games up next.

The performance wasn’t horrific some are making out, I’m not having that. We stood strong defensively in the main other than Davies’s misjudgment which lead to the goal.

We’ve got a cobbled together squad fresh out of 18 months of hell which included an administration yet some think we should be this perfect team and club. There is really no point sticking the knife in after every defeat or disappointing performance.

Huge amount of perspective is needed IMO.

Onto Tuesday night where we look to put things right. ?

  3. Thank god it’s still only interim.

His reluctance to move away from what clearly isn’t and hasn’t worked all season will be his undoing.

Talks a good game and looks the part on the touchline but he’s shown nothing to convince me he’s the guy for this job.

A few home wins have papered over the cracks massively. Give this squad to a manager with a a bit of know and we’d be flying.

  4. There was a lot of trouble outside the Harvester around 2:30pm with a heavy police presence involved.

Saw one Derby fan with blood pouring from his head. Seemed like it was your typical stone island DLF wannabes looking for trouble.

  5. Arsenal.

Always had a soft spot for them since my earliest memories of watching any kind of football was the invincible team under Wenger and how in awe I was watching the brilliance of Thierry Henry.

A year or two later, a relative began taking me to the odd Derby game when George Burley was here and then subsequently got a season ticket and haven’t looked back since.

I then became engrossed in the awe of Iñigo Idiakez and Tommy Smith week in week out instead.
