Dom Brady reacted to RodleyRam in James Collins live now on the EFL Pod - talks the end of season & confirms Las Vegas
Some people had that view going into this season...

Dom Brady reacted to Grimbeard in Paul Warne
I can't believe that there is another club in the world where, in our posistion, a seemingly sizable section of the fanbase would want the manager kicked out.
Yes I suppose it would be nice to watch Jim Smith or peak Mac type football every week, but , how can I put this?
We've got no feckin' money. Yes we may have a higher wage budget than many in this league, (or not, I don't know) but given the restraints and time frame he's had to work in I think P.W's done a crackig job.

Dom Brady reacted to angieram in Where do you think we'll finish this season?
Good point. No plan B!
Whereas Warne has a Plan A, B and C. We sometimes see all three in the same match. 😂
Just an aside, Warne wasn't at the Supporters Club event last night because he'd gone to watch Cambridge at Bristol Rovers. Even at this late stage of the season, he's leaving no stone unturned in his quest to get us up. He works as hard as he expects from the players.

You make your feelings about all things Derby County crystal clear Roy , totally negative

Dom Brady reacted to On the Ram Page in Match Thread: Leyton Orient (h)
Which you will love so you can keep posting your negative comments. Your entrenched in your views - at least get your facts right - it’s Joe Ward - I think the reference to Wilson being a buffolo is more that he goes rampaging down the wing rather than he is built like a steam train. Wilson certainly has technical skill - I’m sure most will agree.

Dom Brady reacted to TheRamOfSwad in We ARE going to do it!
We will get automatics! and we will get promoted!!
We have it in us to pull these remaining results off but we need to get behind the team 🐏
Not being hysterical at every miss kick and bad result!
Not using ridiculous and visceral vocabulary such as "Bottlers" and start praising the players you don't build player confidence and motivation by talking down about them, they are humans too! They read social media and stuff online. Maybe even this forum? think about that
I've cant believe how reactionary this fanbase has become! I get the performances haven't been total football but we aren't there yet! we are a work in progress, you know?
We will deal with next season when we get there but for now, 3 games to go let's get out there and support and clap the lads on and off the pitch, comment on the socials with words of motivation and togethernes ❤ that's what's gonna bring us over the line.... plus I'm sick of looking at heaps of negativity on here 🤣
We are 2nd , remember. Start of the season we'd have paid money to be here 🙌🏻
and vibes are real, they'll feed of us it's all frequencies and vibrations ✌
Come on Derby, time for promotion 💪 🐏 ⚽️

Enjoying it, Connor speaks very well, he was just on

Dom Brady reacted to maxjam in DERBY COUNTY FANS FORUM: MARCH 2024
Just finished watching it all and would recommend every fan doing the same - the youth academy stuff is interesting but the Warne/Pearce bit is excellent.
If even the most hardened anti-Warne fan still has a negative opinion about him and the culture he's building at the club after watching, I'm not sure what else we can do to help you. I personally hope he oversees the next 5 years of our development. Might even treat myself to a bobble hat!

Dom Brady reacted to Chester40 in Paul Warne
Everything you'd expect from a Warne master class today..
3 solid as a rock defenders. Athletic wing backs. Adams winning all the loose balls. Everyone harrying them to win the ball back. Using width and hitting them with pace.
When we are bad we are really bad. But credit is due when we play like that.

Dom Brady reacted to ram59 in Paul Warne
That aged well, they're not the worst team we've ever played in a league match now, surely Bristol Rovers have now taken over that mantel.................................until the next team we beat?

We exercised an option for an additional year. The new contract takes him through to 2027.
Is that what you mean by 'spin'?

Dom Brady reacted to MACKWORTHRAM in January Reinforcements
Some of the reactions on here and twitter last night were beyond a joke to be honest.
"No prem club is going to trust Warne with their young players"
"Max Bird probably left because he cant stand Warnes football"
"Warne can't attract players, the club are lying to us"
"Warne hasn't got the contacts"
"The club said we had money, a good budget, this is a lie"
Amongst other things.
Yet if you take time to wait to hear the reasons and let the club have their say. We were two young strikers first choices, but unfortunately the clubs in question could not get cover and therefore wouldn't let them go. But apparently we have a manager who cant attract these young players because no premier league manager would trust Warne.
Max Bird was leaving anyway. It really sounds like even if we had got promoted this season, he would have gone. He has been here for a long time. He wants a fresh challenge. Simple as that. No ulterior motives, no hate of the manager, he just wants a fresh challenge.
A deal agreed with a striker, all pretty much done, till at 8pm the gaffer of the club in question pulls the plug. What can we do about that?
We knew of every striker available, we left no stone unturned. But we just couldn't get one done. Despite trying our best and essentially having one agreed until the plug gets pulled at the 11th hour.
We clearly had a but of money left to bring one in, but through no fault of the manager or the club, it has not happened.
Yet yesterday the club, the manager got dogs abuse for failing to get a striker in.
Washington and Waghorn will be back in 3 weeks. You have Barkhuizen that can play through the middle, NML if needed. In the next 5 games we have one midweek game, so the others are all a full week apart. Plenty of times for Collins to recover.
We have ended the window with a better midfield than when we started & wingers that would be the envy of most clubs in this league.
Lets get behind them now and stop looking to pin blame and point the finger at.

Dom Brady reacted to Reggie Greenwood in January Reinforcements
the lad is out of contract , not signing another one He would be gone in the summer anyway. If DCFC have got a better deal than the development compo they would have received I don’t think they had any choice but to do that deal
-
Dom Brady reacted to G STAR RAM in January Reinforcements
So you want to class Weston as a striker to beat Paul Warne with but then not as a striker once again to beat Paul Warne with. Unbelievable.
-
Dom Brady reacted to MACKWORTHRAM in January Reinforcements
You don't want me to tell you that two strikers are strikers?
-
Dom Brady reacted to bimmerman in Max Bird - flew the coop to Bristol City, loaned to us to end of season
f*** me give the kid a bit of respect
Stuck by the club when it was properly properly s***, could have done a Buchanon or a Byrne but didnt
Time for him to move on.. No problem with that, he's earned a move. Going to see out the season so that he doesn't leave the club in a tougher spot for the rest of the season and gives some money and time for Clowes to get him replaced, good on him. Best of luck and hope he gets a big pay rise!
-
Dom Brady reacted to DCFC1388 in Lee Gregory (again)
Our bench vs Cheltenham was -
Wildsmith Bradley Thompson Fornah Fapetu Robinson Ward
No matter your opinion of Gregory you cannot deny if yoy put him on that bench he instantly improves it. Is he the man everyone wants, no, but will he improve our bench & offer something as a sub, yes he would

Dom Brady reacted to Srg in Ebou Adams - Joined on loan until end of the season
No, you can't read. He's started 5 games this season. Last regular was then, he missed last year with a chest injury.

Dom Brady reacted to Topram in Lee Gregory (again)
He might come in and score 10 goals you never know but I know if Bolton Pompey Peterborough or Barnsley we’re signing him I wouldn’t be fearing them anymore with him in the squad
