More positives than negatives from that Derby performance, but not a good game. The blame lies in no small part to the referee who just wouldn't let the game develop at all; I'd also add that I think only one of yellow cards (to Fish) was deserved.

Derby lost a significant amount of cohesion when Ozoh went off, Osborn was playing like a headless chicken but did settle down a little after Forsyth & Phillips came on, but by then we were committed to parking the bus.

Obviously, should have been 2-0 right at the death - Adams was completely exhausted which makes the miss understandable, but only the timing of it makes it acceptable.

A lot to work on from here, especially if Ozoh is going to be out for a few weeks. It was all very haphazard for most of that half.

Still, we takes the wins, however they comes.

Not going to get too excited early days and this season is about survival but BUT imagine if we get promoted on our budget would love to see Mel's face.

Comfortable win, Kenzo is amazing. Elder has stepped up massively. Yates quality on the ball is remarkable and every man battles so hard for every ball. Be very surprised if we go down this season and be surprised if we’re even in the conversation.

Warne just said Thompson picked up a groin injury after shooting in training yesterday and “Tom” (I assume Barkhuizen) injured earlier in the week but didn’t say what or give timescales.
