Marc Leonard has six offers on the table with Brighton ready to sell the midfielder  for £400,000. Clubs from Championship, League One and abroad all interested in striking a deal.

derby being one of them

Likely to be the alternative to Osbourn I suspect

doubt it. He's a central midfielder, osborn would be more out wide, probably a full back/ wing back option

He's had a really good season at Northampton, and it's no surprise there is a queue for his signature.

I'd assume that Brighton are doing right by him by allowing a number of clubs to reach their asking price, so he can get the best deal commercially for himself, rather than Brighton get the majority of the money and force him to one location.

The Championship is still a significant step-up from League One, so despite how well he's done at Northampton (first in League Two and then in League One) it's perhaps best to approach this with caution and not get dragged into a contract we don't feel comfortable with for what is still a developmental punt at Championship level.
