I asking you to educate me (by pointing to the rule) not yourself. Are you able to help me?

Here you go:

Law 12:

A direct free kick is awarded if a player commits any of the following offences against an opponent in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force:

charges

jumps at

kicks or attempts to kick

pushes

strikes or attempts to strike (including head-butt)

tackles or challenges

trips or attempts to trip

Overplayed it then on the edge of the box, a pass over the top put NML behind their defence and instead of running at the keeper or looking for Collins he played some passes to Hourihane and Barkhuizen when a more direct route was probably better.
Then Fozzy hits the bar with a looping header!
We’ll score here, it’s just whether we can stop them scoring any more while we get back into it.
