IslandExile
Charlie George, the best passer of a ball I've seen in a Derby shirt. Also, great at flick ons linking fast flowing moves. Oh wait 😔
lrm14
Stevie Howard would be perfect for Warne's system. He'd get about 30 goals at this level. RamontheMoor, Walkley Ram, Magicman and 3 others 2

Gee SCREAMER !!
In this system, Gary Charles would have been phenomenal. He was playing wing back before it was actually a thing as his normal game.

Gerry Daly
Paulo Wanchope. Not only would he score loads of goals but he would add some entertainment to this pudding team
trappatoni
I think I'd have Wanchope. He had pace, strength and was a level above McGoldrick which makes him several levels above this division. We've had better players but I'm not sure an Asanovic or Eranio fit Warne's style. Wanchope fits the mould of a big pacey forward Warne likes but with added class.
Loughborough Ram
A level above McGoldrick? He was 5, 6 or even 10 levels above McGoldrick, in every department. I like McGoldrick but putting him that close to Wanchope is like saying that Cashin is a level below Stimac or McFarland McMuffin and Walkley Ram
Archied
15 hours ago, ilkleyram said: Archie Gemmill. Not our greatest ever player but the best midfielder we’ve ever had with skill, pace off the mark, tackling and an indomitable spirit that refused to accept losing. He would transform this team and any we’ve had over the last 25 years as well, through force of personality alone. Willie Carlin on steroids and Willie transformed what became a really good side. Archie was better. Saved me posting exactly the same as above , though I seen some derby greats Grimbeard, Walkley Ram and ilkleyram 1 1

MaltRam
I lived Bob Davison, but anyone suggesting him over Dean Saunders is off the mark. Dean was Bob with dials turned in every department. Miles better. Dean (hick) Saunders and Steve How Hard?

Ramslad1992
Seriously, Hulse/Howard would score a hatful. Thorne would be a class above. jokingly Claude Davis so we realise Bradley isn’t THAT bad, Stretton to see @Magicmans head explode. lrm14, Comrade 86 and RadioactiveWaste 1
