It would be rather unfortunate if Collins was out for the season - would that mean we would have to play the ball through midfield?

You know all those times when we cross the ball into the box, but there's nobody there, because Collins is stood by the touchline for some reason? It's just going to be like that all the time.

He went to QPR when we needed a centre forward last season in January

For 3 months, yes, but he / his family were still Bristol based and funnily enough he ended up at.... Bristol (I meant Rovers, not City, obviously. Slip of the tongue)

I don’t think we should underestimate the number of times Collins is there to lay the ball off to our midfield. His endeavour often turns defence into attack.

He may not be the most potent threat in the box, but let’s not criticise his general play.

Why was it a farce?

Warne stated there was nobody out there that would improve us that was within our budget.

To quote Simon Jordan...That is absolute Poppycock.

If he does his job properly and prepares accordingly, he would have found someone to improve us within the set budget.

There are footballers beyond the top 3 divisions in England.

You must be struggling to back up your opinion if relying on Jordan - he's well aware that his role is to be contentious and the more gullible people listen to and repeat what he says irrespective of its accuracy, the more it will do down well with the likes of his paymasters such as Talksport.

Maybe just maybe that player wasn't available, We had one...then his manager has a change of mind, SWFC wanted to put a gun to our heads over 2 of their forwards...we walked away, We have...god willing 2 capable forwards in Waghorn and Washington when available, And if he has to play Sonny Bradley as an emergency forward...then so be it.

PW has pulled 2 rabbits out of the hat in CBT and Adams, Getting that "improved player within the set budget" is like standing behind a rocking horse with a bucket and spade ☺️

The fact Collins is injured as our only fit striker was something we all worried about, we didn’t need someone to improve the team. Although that be ideal

just a striker to play would be ideal at this point. Is Dwight Gayle still an option?

We had one fit striker and didn't sign any back up.  The talk was about improving the squad. Well when you're backup is Barkhiuzen bringing in any striker with experience is an improvement.  So irrespective of whatever anyone thinks about the size and strength of the squad it was an obvious error.  Wouldn't necessarily have been solely a PW decision so has no relation to hating Warne in my opinion.

Is that the same Barkhuizen with 71 career goals from 397 appearances, mainly played on the wing?

So you think he should have been preparing for Waghorn, Washington, John Jules and Collins all to be injured?

Who are these freebies that will do a better job than Barkhuizen, NML or CBT up top?

Gayle, Joao, Forestieri, Mousset, Wickham just as some suggestions.

He shouldn't have signed John Jules for a start, same with Embleton. That isn't a Captain Hindsight comment from me, you will see I had concerns about their fitness when we signed them.  They were both risks which have cost us money and backfired.

Waghorn & Washington both have a poor history when it comes to fitness.

Collins it just unlucky if it turns out he is out for the season.

But seeing as 4 of the strikers in our squad are injured more often than not, then yes, he needs to be preparing for his striking department to be depleted.

Here is a start......Don't send anyone out on loan!

And they would all fit in our wage structure and there are no fitness concerns over any of them?

Didnt realise Forestieri was still playing, is he actually still playing. The other 3 wages or would they drop into league 1 would be the question. Wickham I think would be a reasonable target (willing to play in league 1 and affordable) but again the reason he’s playing at this level is because he has had a career that has been totally dominated by injury/fitness issues, which is the reason many are saying we shouldn’t have signed TJJ .

Has it actually been confirmed that Collo is out yet? Apologies if I've missed it.

No and as Sage says we won’t know until 2pm tomorrow when the team is out and we won’t know how bad until Doms interview with Warne post match
