I share that thinking.

I actually think that we need to buy a striker who can score a decent amount of goals for the club, step forward Cole Stockton.

Over 20 goals in League one last season, he would cost but I think its worth it.

Cole Stockton ? Brother of the famous Ronnie Stockton…..

Cole Stockton, the 4th top scorer in league one last season, Morcambe decided to extend his contract not that long ago, but money talks.

Good player. Worldie of a season. Few wonder goals kept him in people minds. They are asking a mill for him (don't think they will get that), however our efl rules for exiting admin will kill that level of fee before it gets off the ground (unless we sell knight or bird)

A huge risk to take a 29 year old player like Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer, but is it worth the risk for Derby.

He's not had a club for a year.

Fast, physical player who could potentially work out well for the club if signed.

Sanogo's career to date

2010-2013: Auxerre - 24 games, 11 goals

2013-2017: Arsenal - 20 games, one goal

2015: Crystal Palace (loan) - 11 games, one goal

2015-16: Ajax (loan) - six games, zero goals

2015: Charlton (loan) - eight games, three goals

2017-2020: Toulouse - 66 games, 17 goals

2020-January 2021: Free agent

2021: Huddersfield - nine games, zero goals

2021-22: Free agent

Would be nice to have a kind of ‘wild card’ signing

The core of our team is coming together now. For me resigning Fozzy should be a priority then agreeing a deal for Oduroh.

I think we need another GK, a natural left back (Fozzy I hope), two rights backs (Oduroh), another wide man (Glover?) and another center foward (Collins?).

If Bielik goes then I'd have another CM.

It's a tough balance having enough depth while also avoiding having a bloated sqaud.

Dani Alves is looking for a club ??

I hear Kirchners selling his along with everything else.  Never used on grass but the woods are a bit marked from him being up so many pro players arses 24-7. He'll knock a bit off for cash  He can get a good view of them on the photo our ex captain so kindly put out.

Birmingham City starlet Keyendrah Simmonds.

Simmonds’ record of 22 goals in 38 appearances for Manchester City’s U18s shows he knows where the goal is, and at only 21, he looks as though he could have a bright future in the game if he can maximise his potential.

With a possible free transfer deal on the cards, Simmonds could prove to be a shrewd pick-up.

know this guy had been mentioned by a few. Interested to see how he does… only experience of him I have is watching the play offs where he did literally nothing noteworthy, but he clearly had a good season statistically.

The only thing I know about this guy is that he kicked up an absolute stink when he left WBA to join Barcelona - and soon returned to Villa. Very highly rated young player - MK Dons have made a reputation as a good landing spot for young players for a while now.

Where's our superstar youngster of countless goals for Liverpools youth teams and Fiorentina forced move.  Are we just paying him to sit at home.  Haven't heard his name for a year.

Henry Lawrence (Chelsea) or Kaine Kesler (Villa) on loan could be what we're looking for at RB. Both had a taste of L1 football last season and will be looking for a full season at this level this time round.

Maybe sign a right back on loan and sign up Oduroh on a free? competition and coverage for places without breaking the budget?
