That’s far too simplistic and doesn’t account for 10 away defeats on the spin. Of course it’s a contributing factor, but that is disastrous. There’s something else at play there tactically, given the same players can perform at home.

No it isn’t. Away from home you’re up against it, need to make right decisions at right times, need to take chances because they are often at a premium, you need clinical strikers (we have a a 36 year old now injured who averages about 8 goals a season, and a 19 year old learning his trade and it shows), you need experienced players to make the right decisions at the right times. At home where we’re on the front foot more we have more opportunities and when backs are against the wall the fans become the 12th man.

Our away form is poor because our squad has been cut off at its knees and we have no options to change it up. The fact our home form has been as good as it has is remarkable. We were favourites for relegation before any points deductions.

QPR are probably not going to make play offs yet they had Austin Gray and Johansen on the bench today!! And they have injuries. That’s what we’re dealing with.

Other than 2 vastly experienced Championship defenders sat on their arses doing nothing, who may (only may, obviously) have been able to use that experience to help reduce the number of goals conceded, grind out the odd draw

Sorry, have we been relegated today or just won the league? Incredible support.

Rooney, the staff and the players have done us all proud all season.

This show of support is well deserved.

But to deliver it.... What outstanding support. Well done to everyone there.

Something in my eye...
