This game is there for the winning..we are playing really well and it's an open game. As usual it's that final pass or decision making that is just off..we are behind to what was a very good goal..

Got to keep the belief, I really think we can win this one. Even replicating our 2nd half when we played at their place.

We need to do to Coventry what Blackburn did to us and come out on fire 2nd half...I think we will..

Buchanan does well to roll the defender and heads down the line... 

Four defenders in the box, no Derby players so he cuts back and passes it sideways.

Dominating possession at times with neat little triangles but at the expense of any cutting edge or threat.

Lawrence has been poor,  Thompson looks very pedestrian at times, likewise Bielik has sprinkles of class interspersed with lazy passing. Instead of passing across the back 4 we are doing it across the midfield. 

Ebowei has been  a threat and looks decent.  One decent move,  Cashin not quick enough to block, Allsop gets a hand to it but doesn't keep it out.

Bit depressing...but this game can be won if we go for it.

Nobody to pass to. They have 4 or 5 defenders in the box to our one or two. Bemused as to why Forsyth can’t get a game at left back. Buchanan is just not at the races. Get Festy and Sibley on and go for it…

As feared performance pretty much matches the midfield, one dimensional. 

We’ve had some nice passing moments, but the midfield are far too static and replicate each other’s work.

It needs to be changed at HT, Thompson who’s done ok needs to be swapped out for Knight so we can get a midfield runner to break through their lines which will help our attack and help blunt their forward movement.

Id also be tempted to play Malcom more centrally so we have a focal point.

Thing is, neither Bielik, Thompson or Bird has the energy, the desire or the confidence to get into the box. 
That makes us very easy to defend against.

Beilik needs more runners to aim for and get us moving at pace, at the moment the only real movement is down our right from Byrne and Malcolm. It becomes very predictable.

I really don’t understand why we don’t play to our players strengths.

Really ? Think that is over egging it to be honest. Their GK has only been tested once.  We also look a bit vulnerable to the counter attack.

Well he’s spotted the problem and changes it which is good.

Personally I’d have bought Knight on instead of Plange but at least were making positive changes early.

Good run from Bird driving from midfield, gets crowded out as he reaches the area. Needs to do that more. Shortly after Byrne whips a cross in, Lawrence heads it and it hits the defender, Dabo kicks Buchanan as he tries to clear but no pen given
