Jeavons was implicated in the Bury debacle, Parry is a serial troublemaker, and wrecked football with the creation of the Premier League, Ridsdale well what can you say, Birch  ex Derby CEO before we got rid of him, a Forest guy and a Boro guy. And Moxey is involved on our side.  How can any of these say they can avoid a conflict of interest? Not one of them.

True. And of course they all like playing at being 'big fish in a little EFL pond'!

Jam their phone lines, hassle them, annoy them, keep them busy dealing with us.

Don't forget to follow up any emails by a subject access request later. If they haven't recorded things properly, or have called you an annoying Derby twit in their internal emails it's of to the Information Commissioners Office we go. I'll probably have a few spare hours on saturdays to chase these things up.

Having listened to sport scene and read all this I am truly fed up and feel helpless and frustrated to know what to do to help resolve this - so I’m in if there’s something we can do as a fan collective.

Would it be good if someone could write the main points of the Issues out and we can all copy it and start emailing MPs, Media etc

That way we have consistent and coherent messaging going out

For MPs, etc., ask them to put a simple question to the EFL, like

"I would be grateful if the EFL would outline what steps it can take to ensure that Derby County has a route out of Administration if a buyer can be found, and confirm that the EFL is not inadvertently hindering the route out of Administration."

That is a nice simple uncontroversial statement that an MP can easily get behind without knowing any of the detail.

People who can identify more specific questions can send those.

It is usually best of people all send independently worded questions. It carries far more weight than loads of people sending the same thing.

But, there is power in a simple straightforward question - and asking an MP to ask it on your behalf.

Could we contact Derby University see if there is any local student lawyers willing to help?

It is usually the answer, and then the follow-up questions that make the most headway.

The first question from an MP can be polite and straightforward.

Send the MP a nice short email asking if they'll put your question to the EFL! (Write to the MP where you live, or ask your MP or councillors if you live in Derby.)

You can easily Google "Find your MP" and enter your postcode.
