Derby play long ball football (last season) - whine and blame Rooney based on results.

Derby play passing football (this season) - whine and blame Rooney based on results.

Roos 100% for their first, Sunday league control. Stop blaming the manager.

As I said earlier even the likes of Ederson, etc. would duck up eventually with this.

We can keep blaming the keepers, but we’re going to run out of keeper to blame as we can’t afford anyone who could play our way even with a couple of million spare!

It’s Rooney who picks an accident prone keeper and tells him to play to his weaknesses

Is that a serious question?

He's trying to improve the quality of the football we play. Can you not see that?

We're down, he knows that. He's trying to instill proper football.

Adopting long ball would be so ducking easy. I admire that he isn't.

I'd admire it more if he taught them when to do it.

But if he can do no wrong in your eyes.....

11 judging by the highlights

Seriously....I'd argue it shows when a team have a manager that everyone likes but who is out of their depth tactically, then at some point we need to accept long term we need someone with more know-how to get the best results out of what we have.
