But he's an ex-Wolves player, you'd expect that wouldn't you? It's not hate / bias against Derby, it's pro the club he used to play for, I'd suggest he would have been exactly the same if they had lost 5-0 to Barnsley.

Agree. Think he’s actually a Wolves fan

Don Goodman has been more critical recently but on other occasions has been extremely complimentary, the 13-14 season notably. For those that think he’s negative about us listen to his summarising of our Brighton semi second leg. He was waxing lyrical about Derby “we’re a joy to watch” he mentioned several times.

I don't think anyone hates Debry County quite as much as the fans do.

A very shortsighted and blinkered view. Those speaking out about things that are not right at the club do so because they care, are passionate and love the club..

I think Sky tend to have a bit of a ‘punditry 101’ thing that can come across a bit like if you aren’t in the play offs then they aren’t interested. For example, last season when we were on sky they kept saying ‘do Derby dare make a last push...for the playoffs!?!’ and everyone said no becaue it was daft:

I don’t think it’s necessarily meant but becomes glaringly obvious when you have pundits who don’t do any research into the teams playing and are there for a pay day. Said it before but if a pundit made it his job to solely concentrate and look into the championship then they would be worth their weight in gold but it won’t happen.

Totally agree. How many people can *actually* register 24 teams in the Championship and know the ins and outs? That's a highly specialised skill. I don't understand why they go for ex pros rather than journalists. The whole point of an ex pro is offering an angle on the game that you couldn't get from someone who doesn't play the game, and Rosenior was good at that. So many pundits though make such generic and lazy points, I really don't understand the point.

Thankfully, thinks seem to be changing a little.

The Not The Top 20 Podcast is excellent, and its two hosts seem to be on Sky, Quest and Five Live quite a lot these days. Hopefully, they'll make their way onto live games soon.

Maybe, but I personally am more inclined to believe we are a little too deeply washed in that 'underdog' spirit and see ghosts that are not there. But to suggest, as the OP did, that there is some sort of illuminati gathering in smoke filled rooms conjuring up ways to belittle DCFC energised by a deep rooted hatred of the club is, well, bananas.

For example, I know for a fact (don't ask how) that Kenny Burns - probably the most obvious example - does not 'hate' us. He enjoys the pantomime villain piece, has a job that is based upon him being the agent provocateur and gets paid for being biased. But it's only a game, and anyone who suggests it goes beyond and fuels hatred is, well, bananas.

Watch out, Banana Man is a pealing
