LeedsCityRam
The media, his pals & the bookies have seemingly anointed Rooney as our new boss (even before Cocu left)...more importantly, what do you think?
StaffsRam
Time for safe hands, not a gamble of that magnitude.

BramcoteRam84
Only way Rooney could possibly work is with Mac as assistant
JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta
Despite the elite level career he had, Rooney appears to have all of the charisma of a tin of beige paint. He might know everything there is to know about football but in terms of communication skills and personality I simply do not see a single management characteristic in him. Pearl Ram
I voted No. I’ve long wondered if his desire to go into management is nothing more than a flight of fancy, something to keep him from being under Coleen’s feet. I could be doing the bloke a massive disservice of course, he could be totally committed to football management and be quite successful but I fear being on the wrong end of a vanity project at a crucial time in our club’s history. ?♂️
Rammed79
I voted no but I dont think he would be terrible just not ready for such high pressure job as this would be. I actually cant think of anyone who I'd like to see take charge . Maybe Paul Simpson but only because he was my favourite player back in the day. RadioactiveWaste
No, beacuse I think it just comes off like he got his go at it because he's Wayne Rooney. If he's assisstent to a proper manager and learns his stuff, then I can swallow it. I gather he's coaching along with Rosenoir in the interim. It's up to the new owners really but I hope they've got someone identified.

Abu Derby
It’s not possible to be a player and manager at this level. Besides he hasn’t got his badges. Someone else will be coming in.

24Charlie
The new regime will have a plan. If they have wad of cash then they don't need a Rooney type appointment to generate interest and I doubt they'd leave their newly acquired investment in the hands of a novice. It'll be someone we haven't thought of.
