Tomori obviously, but I’ve probably got more chance of playing for Derby next season than Frank sending us Tomori. There’s more chance of Frank sending Tomori than of you changing to a Forest avatar. Curtains
Let’s vote Clarke. He’s one of ours I hope.
jimbobram
Let's dream of a defence of Tomori and Clarke ?
Brammie Steve
Clarke as he seems keen on playing for the Rams.

Can we have Igor back as the sweeper between them too?? Well I never said we were likely to get either! Just commenting that imho they might work well together as a pair. Dunno much about De Wierik but I hope if we do bring someone in on loan it complements his style ? Anyway, getting back to the question asked its a tough choice as in their different ways they have both been excellent. If my arm was twisted to make a decision I'd vote for Tomori. StarterForTen
Sorry MaxJam, I didn't mean my comment to sound like I was being facetious. Clearly badly framed by me. I think its a good talking point as the two have clearly different skills. They would be a perfect combo. And (in my own dream world) could you just imagine a player like Igor in his pomp with them? We could just play the three of them and seven forwards! Make that eight forwards - we wouldn't need a keeper either!

Dethorn
I voted Clarke - he seems assured especially since the return after lock down. Tomori was great entertainment but used his pace because his positioning or reading of the game was not as good

How the he’ll could anyone persuade Frank to loan Tomori Clarke on the other hand Hypothetical question, looks like Clarke could be POTS, so with 2 LCB loanees winning it in a row, would you prefer it if had asked who was better? Tomori was excellent but relied on his pace at times to bail him out as his defending wasnt always great (especially early on). Clarke is a better defender positionally & better in the air. Tomori was excellent on the ball although Clarke is very decent also. Should also point out that Tomori had the benefit of Keogh alongside him for pretty much the entire season. Clarke has had Keogh, Bielik, Davies, Wisdom, Forsyth and Evans at various points and a very uncertain goalkeeper situation behind him. Tomori also played in a team that was always top 10, Clarke has played in a team that struggled until the New Year & only clicked thereafter. I would say Clarke has carried the defence at times whereas Tomori was a quality addition to an already decent defence. Clarke for me. Keogh at the side of him a benefit! ? ?????? That guy who played for us for 7 years, won Player of the Year twice, got us into the playoffs 4 times & won 26 caps for his country.

Rather have Clarke long term as reliable week in week out My view as well, would have Clarke over Tomori as Clarke makes less mistakes.
Ramdale
Not even close...Tomori is a good premier league defender. Clarke would get destroyed in the Premier League right now.
Big Trav
Think tomori will be sold by Chelsea soon. He is in a similar position to Clarke 5th/6th choice cb. And Chelsea are looking to better their centre backs. Tomori is a top class championship defender but don’t think he’s ready for the prem he’s been caught out a lot when playing for Chelsea
Sparkle
Tomori because we need speed back there whilst Clarke is a decent championship centre half in my opinion
lrm14
If we're taking them based on current ability, Tomori. If we're going off what they were like when on loan for us, absolutely Clarke.

Seen a few suggest the above and agree but I reckon Tomori alongside Te Wiernik would be a great pairing too. Likelihood is near zero. However, do hope Te Wiernik is good in the air, if we had him and Clarke next year that could be an exciting solid base.

europia
I'd just like a decent centre back for next season, one who can carry out the managers instructions. It won't be either Tomori or Clarke, so I hope the recruitment team are busy looking!
