Ambitious
Tomori by a considerable distance, but he had developed immensely throughout the season. Clarke has to, in fairness, but feel he’s been a more steady presence. Tomori finished the season in outstanding form and carried it on to the next season. Tomori has gone on to play for England, whilst Clarke will struggle to win a place in the Brighton squad if they don’t sell some players. Ben White has been better than him, plus they have established players in that position already. I think we could get him back in some capacity, if he doesn’t fancy going to elsewhere. kash_a_ram_a_ding_dong
I've been very pleased with Clarke's progression this season,he has grown in confidence and influence. Tomori was perhaps a little more spectacular but to be honest I would be happier with clarke next year..he seems to fit with cocus ethos whereas tomori was and is a prodigy of lampard. Comrade 86
Gone with Fikayo as he is a cut above and arguably has the greater scope for improvement too but I love Clarke too. I'd welcome back either or both even though te Wierk may have something to say about that.
Woodley Ram
Can I be greedy and say both as I think they will be well suited as a pairing. Clarke strong and dominant and Tomori with his pace. Also both are comfortable on the ball
Alph
Tomori is my favourite ever loan. Bit dodgy at the start, decent in the middle and a bit of a beast by the end. Great attitude. Got much love for Clarke. Would love us to sign him. Better than most CB's we've had in the last 15 years!!
Coneheadjohn
I was going to put Clarke,Tomori or a fully fit Keogh back. I didn’t because that would have been stupid. Either would be fantastic.
StarterForTen
One thing I would add... the thing both players have in common is how much they improved during the season. Just as Mount and Wilson did too. Goes to show that Derby is a very safe bet to develop premium young talent. Are you reading Pep?!
