Premier ram
Forest are a well drilled outfit , Sibbo looks the only one who could break them down , come out firing boys , keep the faith

We can only get better second half, as impossible to play any worse. Taylor made for FloJo, time to write himself into Rams folklore.

Millenniumram
Well, that was poor. Dunno what it is about playing Forest in recent years, but it always seems to bring out the worst in us. We’ve looked half asleep. Totally devoid of any form of creativity - keeping the ball well, but we’ve been totally toothless. This is where we’re missing Lawrence imo, shame he’s such a muppet getting himself banned. That said, we’re not out of it yet. Forest haven’t been as great as Sky are making out - they’ve only scored cause we’ve got a traffic cone in goal, and Forsyth was away with the fairies for the first 20 minutes. Need higher tempo and better movement second half, and we can get back in this.
IslandExile
The only comfort is that it'll be even more important we beat them in the next game (play off final) ?
TuffLuff
It’s in our hands, frustratingly. Poor reffing gave them control of the tempo for five minutes before the goal. When those little decisions keep going against you in the big matches they can be the difference unfortunately. Bogle looking like a boy. Got every attribute but zero aggression or willingness to win the battle. Has to step up in the big games. Sibley is growing into it, has the beating of most of Watson et al but needs more ball. Kernow
Would take a point if it means we come out with a better performance and show some fight. Play-offs won't be ruled out by defeat today, it just makes our task harder. As long as we can prove that we can get stuck in and win points out of tough situations against tough teams, then it's a positive. We have to see an improvement on the first half or we're not only losing ground, we'd have lost confidence too.

ivo_knoflicek
I had a bad feeling about this from the start. After all, when did we last win in July? It’s a bogey month. Still all to play for though. COYR!!
nottingram
Hopefully everyone who doesn’t rate Lawrence can now see what he brings. Knight is a willing runner but there isn’t much quality there, not from out wide anyway. Nobody is breaking lines, nobody is getting or even attempting to get in behind. Forest sit back and counter, so surely faster players are more able to break them down and stop counter attacks? We need some pace off the bench, and players nearer to Martin I understand fozzy for the point you just made. If they sit back and wait for a mistake do we really want both wing backs pushing forward? I would have started waggy tho. All academic when we concede from a Lollipop shot from 20 yards
Alph
Like to see Bogle go past Knight when Knight goes central instead of stood in the RB position waiting for the ball to stop off at every player on it's way to him. Or Waghorn for Knight to give some width. Going to be hard to play through them. Might create a chance or two but not going to have loads like this are we? DerbyRam!
Wouldn't mind to see FloJo on for Holmes, make it his make or break game. At the very least he is quick enough to run in behind

Jourdan
Credit where credit is due - Forest have played this perfectly. No argument that they have been the better side. The frustrating thing is that we haven’t really tested them. If it continues like this, Forest might go away thinking this was the easiest win they have had all season. We just look like we have run out of steam - winning 3 games in 10 days to get in this position and the squad being stretched by injuries and suspensions may be starting to show. We are missing Wisdom, Lawrence and Waghorn and haven’t been able to get Martin in the game. It’s a pity. But we knew in this run, it wasn’t going to be plain sailing. Gee SCREAMER !!
8 minutes ago, Bob The Badger said: Agreed. We could do with this guy from the two seasons he was on fire. Remember him playing like this against us at Filbert Street, how we chuckled at there chants of we've got Phil Gee at the start, having just signed there golden boy Kitson. Think old Phil had snorted adrenaline in the dressing room before that one.

Missing Lawrence today We need players who will run into the penalty area. I suppose bring Waghorn on. Cocu called exactly this before the game but not enough urgency anywhere on the pitch. Treat it like the Cup Final, a must win game. Get some tackles in. If we lose by two goals so be it but not more of the same until 60 minutes please.
