Rev
Yesterday. Probably the worst Danny Boyle film. 4/
JoetheRam
Moneyball Malcolm Christie/Dean Sturridge. Good story, good performances from Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill who looks very young in it. Kind of The Big Short meets The Damned United.
Mucker1884
The Ten Commandments. Charlton Heston & Yul Brynner. Baby gets a basket named after him, then gets adopted by some princess. Grows up, grows a beard, and wanders off into the desert. Then it all gets a bit slapstick for my liking. Parting seas. Burning bushes. Some Monster in the mountains, writing his orders in the stone... by flame! Yeah right! Anyway, it drags on a bit (3hr 40 mins), but gotta be quicker than reading the book! It's officially the longest film I've watched without falling asleep, but what a waste of an Easter Sunday afternoon! Why didn't they put something more meaningful on, Like Willy Wonka or summat! At least that's about chocolate! 7/10. Needs more chocolate. Wolfie

Chester40
The Professor and the Madman. Big cast, worthy story, well acted...but ultimately hard to really care. 6/10 Bit like The Current War..its something that is interesting but doesn't really translate as a big budget film. Comrade 86
Extraction - a luke warm actioner whose admittedly impressive action sequences can't mask an indisciplined lurch down a frequently trodden path. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8936646/ 6/
Wolfie
This is 40 (Prime Video) Comedy drama about a middle class family with financial ruin looming on the horizon as they turn 40 I quite enjoyed this even though not much actually happens. It's like just spending time with a family for a while, rather than a proper linear plot with a start, middle and end. Quite funny in places but a good 30 mins too long (2 1/4 hrs) 6/10, though Mrs Wolfie would probably have given it a 4. If I had I asked her. Which I didn't.
