Highgate
If there is no knee-jerk sacking then results are bound to improve for Stoke. However given the squad Rowett has at his disposable anything other than promotion this season should be considered a failure.
oomarkwright
It's a long season. We were poo first 8 games. Watch out for them climbing the league steadily, although it is quite funny and a bit of hubris.

He’s a totally different type of DM to Huddlestone which is what I don’t get. Huddlestone’s big, slow, sits and sprays. Woods is small, energetic, backs-up play and plays it short quite a lot (he’d suit us actually). Lazy recruitment.

Alph
How does he fit any Rowett team? Do PL sides just come down with too much money? They just buy all the best players knocking around whether they fit or not. Imagine if Paul Clement was in charge of Stoke? Vydra would have gone there for about £25m

Is there still some debate on their forum as to whether there was a fight in the tunnel at halftime, fulltime or even both?

Not seen their forum it’s just from talking to Stokies at work, they say Butland was ranting at his defenders on the pitch, went toe to toe with Shawcross and then it spilt over when they were in the tunnel. Hope it wasn’t anything trivial?

Coneheadjohn
Signed Ryan Woods...good signing.

He might be a good player, and for anyone else he might be a good signing. But currently Rowett is not doing much good with the plethora of talent at his disposal. So one more talented individual won’t exactly buck the trend. May the minute he cooked sign messi, and I couldn’t see it making much of a difference (especially as he wouldn’t be able to play any midweek home games). leamram
Their forum is calling for Rowett to start giving some youth players a chance...good luck with that one!

Small, technical footballer, hardworking countroller in a counter attacking system. Unless Rowett’s realised counter-attacking football doesn’t work particularly well when you're the favourites I can see it being a waste of money…
Ambitious
Ryan Woods, where does he fit in? Allen, Etebo Clucas, Woods. Annoyingly, Woods would have been a great solution for us. £6.5m is a lot of money, so we never had a chance, but he'll be up against it there. All the best to him, no doubt making a wedge out of moving there.

Etebo not been given enough time so far. if snakey had any sense it’ll be woods and Etebo. but he hasn’t so Allen and clucks for the season it is! ? I thought the whole reason was to stop unsettling players after the season had started. Makes him even more a snake.
Bris Vegas
So Stoke's answer to a squad already containing midfielders Joe Allen, Badou Ndiaye, Darren Fletcher, Giannelli Imbula and Charlie Adam was to add three more in Oghenekaro Etebo, Sam Clucas and now Ryan Woods. Madness...
