Funny how those people who have it in for Rowett as soon as we get a bad result come out to justify the ******** they’ve been spouting all season!

Rowett has had an absolute mare tonight, no question, but no one can say that’s happened often this season. And it doesn’t mean everything is over after 1 defeat!

This is the problem with Gary's preferred style of play.

Win some games and go unbeaten then fans will put up with the pragmatic element of the play.

Start losing some or drawing some then fans will be quicker to turn.

Losing away to Sheffield Wednesday reserves isn't pragmatic it is totally gormless.

Ledley and Nugent were the right call, possibly dropping Lawrence aswell.

Presuming Olsson is injured as not on the bench that makes 4 of them decent shouts.

Baird and the other winger seemed like overkill, especially as it means Johnson is shoehorned wide left.

Needed to whack Jerome up top with Vydra and Nugent, not worry too much about formation and go for the jugular as they must be fragile.  Bringing Anya on and pushing Johnson back is hardly adventurous at 2-0 down.

He'll give Palmer 8 mins at the end. And Palmer will be too desperate to do something with his 8 mins he'll end up miskicking it and we'll all decide he's a waste of space.

You called it. 8 minutes to go exactly

What about last season?

After the instability of the start our brief flirtation with the playoff spots under mac was a big surprise and I personally didn't expect it to be maintained - given the Martin distraction.

Then mac was sacked and garys flirtation was even briefer.

Nah - no bottling. We were never really there.

I agree the substitution decisions seem odd,

But lets face it, we've had 13 shots in this game. I think 12 of those have been in the box. 3 of them have been on target. We've been wasteful again, that's the real problem that we've had of late. We are completely wasteful.

Wednesday haven't been on top at all, except for 15 minutes in the first half.

A defeat was always coming. Hopefully the manager realises going for 3 points is better than settling for 1. Too many draws recently.
