We are also totally sure that Rowett sees Martin as the answer to his vision of a hardworking intense physical striker who makes great off the ball runs and is lethal. Why would cm stay with the better team anyway when he can come back to a middle of the table side? A lot of unlikely ifs have to fall in place for him to come back and then start. This years positions dont carry over to next season. So we finished 9th this season and they finished 6th, the previous two seasons we finished 5th and 8th and they finished 17th and 20th and he made the decision to go to them, which if you use your logic he moved to a bottom half of the table team from a top 5 team. Which is enough for me if we don't hear anything else.
