Butland was on signal 1 this morning saying he'd like to see Grants loan extended or a permanent move as he's done so well and they all like him.

Fair play to Lee playing with the big boys at this time in his career.

I stand at McDonald's roundabout on the A50 and boo him every morning as he drives past.

The thing with Grant is that he's always been a great shot-stopper. Where he's typically looked weak has been in decision making and coming out to claim the ball in his area - at Stoke, he doesn't have to do that very often as their defence get their heads on anything dropped into the box.

If he doesn't move permanently, I suspect he'll come back and we'll soon be moaning about him dropping a cross  into our net....

Interesting to see, even if it's a poor write-up by Sky who rank Heaton top for only letting in 79% of the goals he should have condeded, whereas "second-placed" Grant's percentage is a remarkable (and far superior) 61%. Cech is rightly third with 85% and from there it's close to parity for the rest.

Well done, Granty who has seized this chance. Take the money and run before he returns to punching it into his own net in the second half of the season.
