Ultimately depends how sophisticated the model is really. Marriott’s chance as an example is ultimately a 30 yard attempt with a low probability of scoring, I guess you could start to take into account goalkeeper position but by doing so you probably lose a lot of sample size. Like you say I’m sure this is realised and acknowledged. By no means exhaustive but I think it is a fair reflection of the game whereby despite playing poorly we were good value for at least a point and probably more 11 v 11. A bit more composure at 11 v 10 and 0-0 and it would have been comfortable but ultimately no harm done.

As an aside I also don’t really think that Marriott chance was as good as is made out especially with the type of finish he went for. Hitting it with so much power meant he probably had to find a corner, lob or trying to bend it round Wildsmith would have been better. Easy to say sat in the stands not playing though!

It was easier than he made it look. But he was outside the box, where he turns into a pub player, so no surprise really.

How about some songs that don't involve foul language? In particular the F word... if you don't Fing bounce, and we don't give a F, F the EFL....and of course the Collymore song which was on show again on saturday...non of this puts us in a good place when you hear it in the background on TV for example. Not exactly what you want your kids to hear is it?

Found the guy sky commentators have to apologise to.

How was it tough red? The second offence was a clear yellow card. Are you talking about the first one which I didn't see.

He was barely touched on the second one, is the point being made. Barkhuizen played for it massively, but that’s football. He didn’t time the challenge and gave the referee a choice to make, and as soon as the choice was a foul then a yellow was always going to follow in that position.

Peterborough with 11 men were better than us and would have won had they retained 11 for the whole game. The P’bro No 8, Taylor was bossing the game, certainly in the 1st half. The turning point was the sending off (kudos to Barks) despite them scoring when down to 10 men. As LR said in his post match, that was the worst we have played this season, possibly because they didn’t let us play.

Can’t agree with that. Think them going a man down and us switching off as a result got them their goal. Think we would have likely won the game still 11v11. Fair play to them for remaining attacking with 10 men to get the goal, just think their subs after that were a bit curious.

Must say, unless my eyes were deceiving me, Sibbers was on fire at the start.  He "could" have had a hat trick in the opening 5 mins!... I say "could", and not "should", as he did nowt wrong, from what I saw.  Was just scuppered by jobsworth defending and a little bad luck.

Glad to see him get a full 90 under his belt.
He's maturing nicely, in my book.

Could’ve easily have gotten dragged into an altercation first half too. Got up, got their man booked. Maturity showing.

  6. Great limbs at the end there. Should’ve won comfortably, but we weren’t good enough when they went down to 10.

Big few days with the transfer window. We need some reinforcements. No one we could throw on out wide with NML missing today, and we certainly need a striker to take Joan Collins out the firing line, he was pony again.
