  1. I got Toffs to make a one off for this shirt, links in the 1884-1895 Racecourse years shirts to the move to the BBG, this was the away shirt that was worn from 1895 to 1924 when the first badge was then applied, Steve Bloomer would have made many appearances and scored many goals in these colours and can be seen in the images below, they were also second division champions.

Is the second version still available?

I will buy the third version also.

Have you any spares of this shirt?

I was going to buy a Bocini Kids Sublimated Striped Football / Soccer Jersey T-Shirt with Mesh Panels from Australia as it’s the nearest shirt I can find that looks like it with the the two stripes on the front.

And thanks for your help regarding the1923-26 Derby White Home Laced Shirt, it’s brilliant like the books and all the shirts within it.

hey up inverurie i have sent you an email mate ! as always thanks for the support !! top man !

  3. I have updated the Colours of The Rams book considerably in format and content, it is now 220 pages of interesting facts, photos, newspaper cutting and of course Derby County Football shirts!

meticulously researched and done in a time line from 1884 to present day covering The Racecourse years, the BBG and Pride Park.

it’s the sort of book that you can pick up as often as you want and use as a reference book.

it is not done as a money maker and only a tiny profit is made is is a labour of love, if you have one of the first two versions it’s still worth updating and it makes a great Christmas present for any rams fan of any age !

as always thanks to you guys for your ongoing support over the years !

at least with it being from Amazon it’s not going to get held up by postal strikes, any questions just ask !

Happy Christmas and Up the Rams ??

When was the pale blue and dark blue striped shirt?

I'm not one for striped shirts in general but those two were great.

1977 only worn a couple of times but what a shirt that is !!

  5. Possibly the most relevant shirt in the history of Derby County worn by @alanhinton11 top scorer in 71/72 for the first ten games until we switched to the plain white, we were crowned champions of England that season,  the 1st blue and white kit in our history and the 1st time that the snorting Ram adorned our shirt replacing the Rams head, a lot happened in that shirt ! we were on the cusp of greatness ! #dcfcfans

Believe the same thing happened to Willie Carlin a few years ago.

Always wondered if the club ever purchased Jack Stamps FA cup medal when it went up for sale.  At the time I thought it would have been a ridiculous decision not to when they paying some players 20k a week plus to basically not play.

Did we ever get the Watney cup back from serial FFP dodgers Stoke.  It was on loan but may have been forgotten about in the last 12 months misery.

    Any one know ?

As part of the Rams Heritage trust I took Willie Carlin a replica second division medal round to his house, we had fifty jade and numbered, took him the no 8, he loved it and I spent a couple of hours with himself and his wife, a very funny man, I believe that we have the Watney cup back now.

Good question. Did he receive a medal @loweman2?

He did but a good few years ago his home was broken into and some c@/%$ stole it,the only thing that he had to show for his loyalty to Derby County !

I thought we were in about 74/75 season, I don’t think he won any other medals

I have been trying to find out about it somebody told me it was a match signed shirt from the last game at the baseball ground and others saying they stood outside the ground and got it signed so n0 the wiser

ive sent you a message, i have one from the last game at the the BBG that was signed by everyone, so should soon be able to put you in the know, nothing worse than not knowing where your prised shirt came from !

  9. My efforts with documenting and preserving the history of our club through its shirts have been acknowledged and rewarded by the kind gift from the club of the number 9 shirt as worn by James Collins through the pre season games when we were without our new seasons kit, depicting Derby as a United City and football club, it was nice to be rewarded but even better for the club to officially recognise the longer term purpose of the collection.

Moved to the main forum for you.

@loweman2 and @Quangy are the ones to ask, they live in Derby County museums

Hi @bimmerman i think that if you were to sell them on ebay and take some decent close up photos of the signatures and list who has signed them and put that they are from the final season at the Baseball Ground it should attract more intrest than just a basic description, take around 6 photos of each item from different angles, i would assume that they would sell for around £25 each but could go for around £50 each with the history attached to them if a couple of people become interested.
