Retro_RAM got a reaction from RedSox in v Charlton Athletic (H) Match Day Thread
He'll say his usual on to the next one with some random joke/pun... NO show a bit of seriousness, this isn't going right show some god damn determination.
Seems like a nice bloke you'd have a pint with and a bit of banter in the pub but not managing your club.
I liked him and was prepared to give him a transfer window but this isn't working and if we're honest it's never worked under him. The squad we have should be up there regardless of who is managing us.

Lovely move but I think NML just smashed someone's lounge window

Promising signs of a good game have dissolved into a really error-strewn mishmash of a game.

Retro_RAM reacted to Crewton in Should we just stick with the squad we have now
Reading fans say that without their Academy they wouldn't have a team at the moment. The same was true of us in Administration. Academy sales also kept the lights on, however the value also lost because of that period would have justified the cost of a Category 1 academy for 10 years.

Retro_RAM reacted to angieram in B4 - for ever a Ram 🐏
I have some very sad news this evening. Daniel (B4) died earlier this week. He was just 38.
As you know, he has been battling numerous health conditions for a long time, but always remained cheerful and was the most loyal supporter of his beloved Rams, home and away.
He was at the match at Crewe and gave his full support as always.
Daniel leaves behind a grieving dad, mum and sister. Our thoughts go out to them and we only hope they get a little comfort from knowing how well loved Daniel is by all who know him.
Here are a couple of photos that his dad agreed could be shared. I'm sure many of you have others, as Daniel loved a selfie at the game.
David is hoping to arrange a more fitting tribute in time, but for now please raise a glass in his memory and a good Derby win today. I am sure that's what Daniel would have been doing tonight.

To be fair offsides are usually the linesman's call rather than the refs.

But he IS Pete.
Best chance of success is to get behind him.

to be honest I couldn't care less if they score against us as long as we win.

We've got a game in hand from 3 teams directly above us, we win at Cheltenham on Saturday (which we really should) we're right in the mix of the place-off spots and knocking on the door of the top 3. Shows how close this league is really.

It's quite naive to think that because you've handed out a 4 year contract, that player will remain on a low wage regardless of progress.

Bird to left winger Fozzy whose first time cross is almost turned in by Collins. Another corner.
Lots of work on set pieces. This one finds Bird whose shot is blocked.
Cashin very far forward. Rapacious pressing everywhere. Really good game.

Davies got a lot of deserved credit for signing a waiver to help the cause on the final game of the season and went on to become a Derby icon for what he did for the badge that day. However did we forget about Waggy for the grit and determination he also showed that game? Real body on the line stuff and motivating from the side line.
It shows that both love the club (like we do) but Waggy's heroics seemed to have got overshadowed by Davies.
I'd say give him a shot, strength in depth and all that.
