Yes me and my Son too, not that it matters really as many follow home and away at great expense. Kind of what we do though and is always a choice to you and your Son..
I am not offended by this in the slightest. In fact he is bang on with his comments. If you wish to be offended that you are the outside noise then perhaps that is a reflection more on you than him.
Lets be honest, and as you know considering you were at Blackpool, fans singing PW your football is s**t at nil nil after 30 minutes is pathetic considering we went onto a great victory that night. A minority of fans sung this but still. 3 nil down fill your boots but at nil nil, jesus would have wept.
All Richie Barker did is publically state that they are getting the players focused and to ignore the negative outside noise, of which there is as we all know. This is good management. Keeping the players positive and focused is the only way we will win football games and get us out this league.
You can twist and turn words all you like to be offended in one way or another. Keep a level head and stay positive. It is amazing what togetherness can do.

The linesman pointed his flag downwards which indicates the offside was on his side of the pitch ie Mendes Lang rather than Waggy.

Thanks for pointing this out. I've learned something new here with regard to offside flagging.
I hope goal difference doesn't come into play at the end of the season or my bitterness will take a new twist.

Just finished this morning, wow, what a brilliant last season.  Some terrific acting and great characters made it sooooooo real.  Gonna miss it that's for sure.  Loved the ending too which is normally a big let down.
Clough and Taylor/10 for me.  Now up there with Gomorrah as my all time faves.

Sadly, when you go to watch Derby away, you have more chance of being verbally abused or assaulted by your own fans than by the opposition fans.

Although I am no longer in a position to go to away games regularly, i have heard several accounts of issues at away matches these days, linked to standing as well as a large number of fans having too much drink and god knows what else.  Sadly, I'm not sure the club are in a position to do much about it, i imagine seat numbers are rarely matched up to the ticket holder and so many tickets are changing hands on social media that it would be impossible to prove any guilt unless the offenders are actually arrested for something.  It is a real problem and one which the SCG should continue to lobby for a solution.  I am sure Mr Clowes would be sympathetic but finding a solution could be very difficult.  When I was travelling away regularly in the 80's and 90's we didn't have such issues, unfortunately those days are gone.  Whilst i do still enjoy the occasional away game when I can get tickets, I have felt a little uncomfortable taking my 13 year old lad which is a great shame.

A quick shout out to those who normally get a rough deal on here. Referee and Linesmen. Don’t recall a lot wrong from them yesterday. Credit where it is due?

    Imagine if we lose
The players will return wounded from 'nam
None of them will receive a heroes welcome. None of them. N-n-none of them

As someone that was part of this "cosy club" as you call it, missed payments to HMRC were never revealed in the meetings I or anyone from this forum attended.
Be interesting to know how, when and to who you believe sat on that.
Regardless of how board members are elected, they don't represent me will be a common cry.
So much animosity aimed towards those involved, I'm not sure why anyone would want a seat.
Even calling it the Cosy Club is a subtle dig, why is that necessary, these are fellow fans that have done nothing to deserve that kind of s****.
These meetings are an EFL requirement now, it would be simply impossible to hold them with 30,000 fans in the stadium.
Those that were chosen to form the Supporters Charter Group had platforms/groups in which they could give feedback and provide information to.
Some of those like the Punjabi Rams for example do great work in the community.
Anyhow, this platform is no longer in the SCG, left following the NDA meeting, so all these feedback would be better fed back through groups that are still in there, let them know your concerns, although I would drop those subtle digs if you want to get anywhere with them.

Citeh had released Franny because - they said - he was too old - at 32!!!!
So it was especially sweet for the man to score the goal against them that - in a major way - led to his new team winning the title ahead of his former club.

Quite how the goalie kicking the opposition forward between the legs from the back doesn't constitute a foul I'm not sure, but who knows these days!

I was on that trip for Cosenza, and I remember chatting in a bar to a lad from Heanor about Tom Curtis, who was a youth player for Derby that he went to school with and wasn’t fond of as a person.  His conflict was that he now played for Derby.
    ”I love him… but I hate him!”
Great trip, and I played a blinder in the fans game against the Cosenza fans!

Some Heanor Rams made the trip for the Cosenza game, flew with the players.  Had a fantastic time apparently, out on the beer with Martin Kuhl who travelled but didn't play.

If winning the next 20 matches would result in despair, I suggest seeking therapy. We've won away from home, we've kept a clean sheet and Collins has shown that Waggy is not the only striker in form at the club. The performance wasn't great I concede, but your relentless melodramatics are starting to wear very thin.

Good display from Zach Parker, looked a bit tired towards the end but a clinical disection of a tough opponent.

Sky's moment of the day was an interview with Spurs manger pre-match talking about Brennan Johnson's first start and he said something like"he's got to start getting used to playing for a big club sometime."

Whilst we bash away, mostly anonymously behind the keyboard, just go take a second to see what Josh Vickers is going through right now, Ed, just like us all is a real person.
Regardless of how you feel about him as a person or his commentary style there is absolutely no need for personal stuff towards a fellow Derby fan.
Seriously, come on, have a word with yourselves.
