So easy for QPR to find space in and around our box.

Joz over sibbo, kaz, ebosele wouldn't be my choice. Maybe he's killing it in training.

I don’t like to overly criticise our players but Morrison is just a passenger out there where we need someone to cause them some problems

Morrison is a passenger in this game. Offers absolutely nothing.

At any given moment, from start to now (66mins and counting), the away end has not fell silent, or even close to quiet!

    I've said it since he's been here. He's a 1 in 8 player.
Will turn up, have a decent game, score a goal and then you won't see him again. Every season.
To make him captain was bizarre. Admittedly Davies & Jagielka weren't signed at that point. But Shinnie was here. So at that time I would have given it to Shinnie.
We never hear from him either. After a poor game or a difficult defeat, it's the same players who front up. Curtis Davies, Graeme Shinnie and last night it was Jagielka.
Davies had posted something on Instagram.
That's a captain. A captain is someone who says, lads this was awful today, we're gonna get some stick here. I'll be the one that fronts up and faces the media.
    Never ever does.
His contract is up in the summer. The sooner he's out of this football club. The better.
We're a better team without him in it.

So if we accept the need for a complete reset, shall we just wave the white flag with the EFL, get all the shizzle, embargoes etc out of the way and try to move on?

The we might as well give up, bye bye championship comments are a bit childish. Granted we’ve been poor tonight and probably will go down but let’s hope the team can keep their heads up. Thankfully the travelling support don’t sound like they’re giving up just yet.

jcidaho reacted to Carl Sagan in The future of Pride Park and Moor Farm?
I've started this thread as I don't know what the position is but others on here hopefully do.
My understanding is that, separate from the club, Mel Morris owns Pride Park Stadium.
However, something called a "charge" is on both the stadium and separately on Moor Farm, to MSD which is the investment arm of Michael Dell (originally the Dell Computers founder) which loans money to desperate UK football clubs at very high interest rates. I believe MSD gave us 2 loans to keep the club functioning.
What does all this mean for the future? I don't know what a charge is or what the implications are.
Might it be that Derby end up like Coventry were until recently, playing miles out of our home town and not in the stadium purpose-built for us? Will Mel rent the ground to the club at a nominal rate? Will he rent it to us at a commercial rate? Will he sell it back to new owners? Or is it not up to him, but rather up to MSD? Do the administrators have any say in any of this? What is likely the position for the remainder of the season?
For Moor Farm, again, does MSD have any claim or say on what happens? Will the administrators likely try to sell the site?
Any informed opinions or guesswork welcome. I imagine this could be a key element of entering administration, but don't know what the implications are likely to be.

He's a generous bloke, £1.2m for a robotic surgeon to Derby Hospital that helps the city, saved lives and pumped millions into the football club.
People can dissect his running of the club and they will, but honestly having talked to him on many occasions, he's a decent guy that does care.
I would receive calls just to check up how I was doing during my bad days with anxiety. Was hard to read that he was going through his own health issues.
I'll get hammered for this post but I'm gutted for the guy with how this is ending. Always will.
Won't ever feel comfortable reading people laying into him as a man, but accept that others haven't been as lucky I have to have been able to see that side of him.

jcidaho reacted to Steve Buckley’s Dog in Stupid ticket system
What the club is doing regarding ticketing is absolutely baffling. I had an hour’s drive to get a ticket to someone this morning as I would have been unable to meet them off their bus and they can’t stand up for too long.
He was telling me that the supporters bus he used to use has now been cancelled because the majority can’t sort out tickets and aren’t willing to jump through all the hoops presented to them. I don’t think the majority on here are truly understanding the impact this is having on a certain demographic of our support.
If I ran a business and the customer numbers fell by 10,000 I would be highly concerned. It seems a pretty shambolic way to run any business, let alone one purporting to be short of cash.
Shame really because it is refreshing to be watching a group of players clearly giving everything for the shirt.

Thought Boro had a plan and stuck to it, increasing the pressure with their higher line in the second half. Maybe Rooney could've kept on Sibley, as he was growing into game and everything threatening was going through him. Maybe he could've taken off Joswiak first. All in all a good point. Bird had a good first half. Davies good throughout.
