Am impressive result considering we had an U16(?) CB partnered with a CM, and an U16 CM infront of them. Three U16s came off the bench too.

Burton Albion are under restrictions because of their tiny income. But they seem to find it easy to bring players in.

Bristol and EggSetter have effectively nothing to play for but pride.
If we can win today, hopefully with a good performance then it is not inconceivable we could be on a 4 win streak going into the last weeks.
We’ll see, but whatever happens it’s been a good first step in the rebuild process.

Who knows maybe if he does well and stays there we could be lent some decent players for next to nothing next season 🤷‍♂️

I still think we play some good football at times and the first half at peterborough was a good example, it was so one sided but in those periods we need to score and we are'nt and this is the problem.
We are toothless, once Didzy's form dropped off, and it was always going to where are the goals coming from ?
If you put two mobile pacey strong forwards in our side who can score the whole picture changes for me
We should've been at least 2-0 up in first half against Peterborough and then I believe the second half would've looked a lot different
Didzy had to score that easy header from NML cross in first half against Ipswich and Cashin's header should've stood and would've put us 2-1 up ..the differences are marginal not massive and 2 Centre Forwards would change a lot as I still don't see Didzy as a CF and Collins is very short on confidence
I'd be very tempted to play NML or Barks up front with what we have at the moment to give us something different.....pace !

I don't know the ins and out of the Peterborough situation but it seems that there are many ways to run a club [i.e. players, staff, kit, ground and training facilities (owned or rented), travel etc] at a significant loss without falling foul of the very precise FFP rules.
We've heard of various ruses.....selling ground to yourself, having a 'sister club to play the transfer market via inflated, under-inflated player values, having other companies under the same parent company and shifting funds around etc. Without proper scrutiny it's hard to know how much of this this true and how much is mud-slinging.
Maybe the EFL and premier league would be better to take a holistic look at finances, state what activities are required to run a club and look at the aggregated profit and loss of the contrived portfolio of companies that are used to play accountancy gymnastics.....of course a bugger of a job.
One thing that can't be disputed is that the company that owns the Peterborough ground is not in financial trouble because of over-spend on the number of toilets in the away end.

Collins is obviously a confidence player and is obviously used to being a big fish in a small pond and having a team built around him and having everyone’s love.
We’ve built our team around McGoldrick and I would say this has affected Collins.
He will obviously want to play and he will obviously want to make a difference. With him, you feel he’s likely trying too hard to make an impression.
He’s becoming much maligned because he is everything that McGoldrick is not.
 

Ah, been a long old while since I did one of these. They're a bit of an arse really, so I find it best to pick games we are unlikely to win and given what I've read today, we are unlikely to win ever again so the timing seems right to show willing.

Met him this week in Q&A forum at Peacock Lounge in Allestree along with Gibo, Phil Gee and Kevin Wilson.
Absolute sound bloke, talked about 3 times as much as the others. Other insights:
Could not really remember specific goals, loved the 6 yard box ones.
Chose Derby over Arsenal as missus did not fancy London. Good lass.
Archie Gemmel was the best pro at Derby when he joined as has been an inspiration career wise.
All three had not much good to say about Arthur Cox.
Got the impression he quite liked working at Jet2 and did not seem bitter about his journey (other than when he did not get to re-sign due to Cox playing his options {Chasing Gabbiadini while telling Bobby he was about to sort it})

Easy. Do what rugby do, let them be treated while play carries on.

For our younger fans-Since we dropped into the Championship , we have had 4 goes at the play-offs and failed 4 times. Twice at Wembley. After dropping into the 3rd tier it must be our turn to have a great day out in London.

I have no knowledge regarding the contractual agreements between Lineker and the BBC, but I doubt whatever it might be that if Lineker had kept his comments to simply ‘ I am opposed to (or uncomfortable with) the Government’s current position on immigration’ it would be business as usual tonight, and I would be avoiding MOTD. HOWEVER, he decided he wanted to directly associate the current position with what was being considered in Germany in the 1930’s. There is no reasonable correlation I can see, and I am still waiting for his supporters on here to give me examples of the ‘language’ being used by Ministers in the UK that might seem similar in any respects to that espoused by Hitler or anyone of the National Party back then. I am going to watch MOTD tonight. Quite looking forward to it.

The supporters falling in behind big ears presumably are doing so partly as they agree with him on the topic..
