You have to think, maybe the negotiators at florest are much much better than ours(which to be fair, is asking really little) but arent florest going to be under embargo pretty pretty soon?

So many first team players. Must be so much in wages. And they are going absolutely nowhere. Sometime it must has to hit them surely? Especially with another manager sacking eventually, even if they do beat us

They might have done, as did Millwall (throat wracking spitting sound), but the Boro were the ones whose keeper was booked at 95 minutes.

If that's the 1-0 defeat I'm thinking of, I think the goalie spent at least 25 minutes of that game placing and moving the ball and rolling around.

It's like someone at Arsenal found a magic lamp and their Arsenal related wish was "I wish Arsenal were no longer a Europa League team at best", and the genie technically granted it but not in the way he hoped.

I remember the days when Arsenals big day out in Europe was the cup winners cup every 7 years and they hadn't won a title in 20.  Wenger was driven out despite winning 7 FA cups and 3  League titles as well as getting them to a champions league final in the same period,  This despite having an extremely expensive new ground to fund, much covered by his ability to find players at a low price and sell them high just before there star quality waned.  I find it all quite amusing.

  4. Bloody hell. People always moan at football matches on occasion. I used to hear stuff at the old place and it was up close and personal .  Most of the stuff now is generic and just general chuntering, the next minute the same persons cheering a tackle.  Nothings changed in 140 years.  Been to Everton a few times and the kind of vitriol you hear there is the kind of stuff to do this.  We're like choirboys compared to most.

  5. 3 points wouldn't surprise me . Think Gibson started moaning in 18/19 so perhaps for that season as they may have brought something to our attention.  Prior to that they seemed happy enough, so we would appeal and that would make them look a bit silly as we would have a great case.

After everything warnock experienced alongside jagielka in their careers he should be ashamed of how he conducted himself today.

Despite his wwe striker elbowing jags and splitting his face open, pulling his shirt in every single challenge and then promptly falling over every time its jags who should be sent off.

Jags should be proud of how he conducted himself today. Warnock, who I used to have some respect for, can get ducked.

That looked a red card on viewing.

This comment taken from the BBC website by Warnock

"Phil Jagielka should have been sent off. I'm not sure the referee even saw it because he asked the fourth official, who said yellow card.

"When you look at it, the follow-through is horrendous. Jonny's lucky it hasn't snapped his leg. That's a red card any day of the week."

Anyone expand on this? or is Warnock still...well Warnock.

It wasn't even a booking, he won the ball.

If I was a Boro fan I would be ashamed of that performance, the end does not justify the means.

    This one was

Wasting time at 0-0 and spending half the game rolling around feigning injury is not what I want to see from any Boro side.

15% sell-on wasn’t it? Hopefully they and Palace become involved in a bit of a bidding war.

Last year of his contract too so I imagine anywhere between £5m-£8m is likely.

You normally find it's 15% of anything over the original transfer price i.e. sod all as I think it was 5.5 rising to 7 when he left.

I wonder what his thoughts are on the likes of Villa, Wolves, Bournemouth, QPR, Watford, etc. All of these teams actually got promoted whilst cheating FFP, at the cost of a club which was complying with FFP.

That doesn't seem to fit the remit I'm afraid.  Reading are his new plaything now I should imagine .  At least till accounts are filed . His comments are the same thing over and over and bar a few droogs who seem to hang on his every word, some off his own forum members are getting tired of him bunging up the forum with Derby County accounts. Play the game of categorising his comments using the following chart.

On a similar theme, Gary Lineker looks like a proper scrawny old bloke. Thought he’d keep himself looking better seeing as he’s fond of a very young girlfriend

Probably this. Don't think he can go down the Lorraine Kelly 'brand' route and claim he has no interest in what he's talking about. Never mind

Gary Lineker facing £4.9m tax bill

The Match of The Day host has been told by HMRC that he is not a freelancer but rather an employee of the BBC and BT Sports and could face a tax liability of £4.9 million.
