I want to sign Mr Pop to dcfcfans from https://www.otib.co.uk/ and make him manager if you can arrange it please.

    Thx

He's having a bit of a meltdown at the minute and hates the club , the supporters and Mel Morris in particular who he thinks might be fibbing about being ill.  He's even resorted to copy and pasting comments from the DET which takes a special kind of hate to get them loaded. That's true dedication.  ?

Maybe he should stop being a big girls blouse and try it without a parachute next time.

The previous chap did it without and just used a parachute at 6000 altitude to slow descent as he came in.  The other way is just plain cheating. I demand a recount.

  3. As none of these lot are actually going into orbit there not actually going into space anyway are they.

Bit like the fella who holds the longest free fall record of about 30.000 metres.  He had some kind of parachute attached to him to manipulate descent so surely that can't be classed as genuine freefall.

  4. He can pass. When he was here he got a bit swallowed up as he's not the biggest.  Plenty of premier league games since.  Not renewed at QPR though despite playing 21 games last season and a couple of non descript seasons before that.  A bit 50/50 on this one.

  5. Here we go then.  Seen 1st altercation in the co-op.  big line of people, women holding everything up buying a month of lottery tickets,  2 lads about 20yr old  messing about in the fridges going back and forth round the queue- no masks.  Guy behind them eventually loses his rag and tells them to stay in line and away from him especially without a mask on.  One of the 2 stops the call he's on as he's wandering about, to tell this bloke to do one and he doesn't need a mask . Before he's finished big geezer in the queue who appeared to be a decently sized tree surgeon, finished the chat with a punch that appeared to involve a straight knockout and shattered nose.

    First of many.

Stearman's last performance at this level was being bombed off at half-time as Huddersfield were 5-0 down and having watched the highlights, I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it. He's all over the place. It could well be one of the worst individual performances ever at this level, essentially having a fault in all five goals. I really hope he doesn't make the cut over Jagielka or Wisdom.

With Forsyth and the goalies that could a few 9-0 incoming then.

Stearman always looked a reasonable standard of centre half - till he had 5 months playing with the wild eyed one from The Joiners. Perhaps he's the common denominator

I almost agree. Not being able to pay up in respect of our transfer obligations is worse in my book.  I understand it is alleged that we are outstanding on fees due to Peterborough, and perhaps others.

That probably explains Marriott of to Wednesday when we had one 36 year old striker.  Probably also explains the new contract offer - 500 k sale to clear add ons.  Thanks to the EFL they got him back for free and we owe them money -fab.

With the news we may be initially allowed to sign 5 players on a free or loan for 12 and 6 months respectively, who do you go for out of the players we know we are interested in.

The free agents training and playing for the club must have some kind of assurances that we hope to sign them, but we can’t have them all.

Focus needs to be put towards the areas we need most. Players like Wisdom and Mengi have an edge as they cover areas where we are very short, and play more than one position. Wingers and striker wise, we are a bit better stocked but there isn’t exactly any depth.

So you have to pick 5 of the following to join immediately, who are they?

    C. Davies

    A. Wisdom

    P. Jagielka

    R. Stearman

    T. Mengi

    S. Aluko

    R. Morrison

    S. Baldock

I imagine the combined age of that lot must be about 230 years and that includes a 19 yr old.  Based on that I'll take the youngest 4 and add this fella for firepower. Can't be any worse.

If the HMRC related embargo relates to our Accounts submission then hopefully all the embargoes are removed when we submit our accounts which will be mid August at the latest so we should hopefully have 2 weeks to bring players in before the transfer window shuts

I cannot honestly know if and how the club owe money to HMRC.  Do we owe money or was it late payment of tax/NIC back in December. Is there a payment plan in place? Would this payment plan be jeopardised by resubmission of accounts ?  Would it actually do us a favour and additional yearly losses would reduce the liability?  It may be we have agreement with HMRC to clear any reduced liability once accounts are resubmitted.  Might even be a refund for those years but increased liability in later ones.  I suspect the bit in bold.

  10. If West Brom are actually keen, he's going there anyway.  More wage, more loan fee .  This does however bring me back to the point I raised when he left.  Any transfer of a young player from a championship,  league 1 etc to a premier league club should have to include 50% of any loan fees should they play elsewhere up to the age of say 23.  It's always likely to get the selling club more than they sold for originally as they always seem to wind up on loan to a championship team inevitably.  Would stop clubs feeling so royally shafted. We might have a million quid incoming now

  11.

Prize of a night out with Bristol's saddest banker if you guess who came up with this solution to embargo.  The only clue I'm giving is that it's the same person your going on the night out with.

What about this, though it won't happen in a million years.

EFL approach Derby and offer a significant easement- in exchange for an agreed say 15 point deduction effective 2021/22 OR for the Interchangeable fixture list to finally have a use and accept swapping divisions with Wycombe effective immediately.

Or maybe Derby approach and offer a significant price (ie a huge deduction in 2021/22 or swap divisions with Wycombe now) in exchange for a significant improvement of their situation- otherwise IMO no deal, the Restrictions stay!

Two theoretical ideas- but the point remains that I'd be looking to extract a significant concession or set of concessions/price if I was the EFL here

Does anyone know if this issue with "professional standing" players is a new thing? I ask, because I hadn't heard of it being a rule previously, and I can't find any relevant results when searching "EFL professional standing" from before 2021. It feels an especially egregious situation if this is a rule that has only been introduced in the last few months, after players had already played in the Chorley game.

Bit like them asking for 3 years accounts to be resubmitted when they'd already agreed the format. Would never happen
