Bullying perhaps a bit strong ? There’s a time and a place for stuff , consideration , reading the room ect , to be fair there have been posters who appear to take great pleasure in trying to burst peoples bubble of enjoyment, in the case of a few it comes across as attention seeking contrary for the sake of it , is some posters dishing a bit back really bullying as long as it doesn’t cross the line into abusive ?

    A) It's a strawman argument as no one was being negative. People are being jumped on before they post.

    B) Dissent has been shut down and some posters feel like they can't express their views.

I'm not a fan of Warne's football but appreciate now isn't the time for that conversation. I'm just enjoying the result.

However also now isn't the time to try and score points against more critical posters.

How ? It was an observation.. we all know certain members would have been all over this thread within seconds of the final whistle had we failed today .. u know thats a fact

cant have it both ways if ur going to run your mouth all season ( not u)

Because many posters have stopped posting due this.

For every troll there are 10 genuine posters who have constructive criticism.

  3. I was at Belper Cinema tonight and the lady working there mentioned she used to work at Derbion Cinema.

I said you must know Daniel then. She smiled for half a second, remembered he had passed, then shed a tear. Within seconds she was smiling again but still with moist eyes.

She told us how positive, optimistic and lovely he was and how great he was at his job. He was her favourite workmate.

At this point I may have had some grit in my eye.

I think Daniel has made us all tearful as we smile at his memory and I dare say many of us will look to the sky at 2.30 tomorrow, with that same bit of grit in our eye.

I've never been so confident before a match in my life, as the very briefest thought of us not doing this for B4, hasn't once crossed my mind.

    Can’t see this happening.

There’s nothing like time on the pitch - this is why players coming back from injury usually start with a 10-15 minute spell as a sub. Combine this with the fact that Max is off and that we have found a starting line up and set up that has had a promotion winning unbeaten run…

if it was Gayle and we needed to win by 3 it might be different

    No chance

He has said several times Bird is our best player, so we will see

Aren't you just assuming that he is a 'one-trick pony' based upon two relegations with Rotherham, a side operating on a far lower budget compared to Derby? Perhaps, if he is able to bring a little more quality into the club, he (and we) will flourish? Warne has certainly proved that, on very limited resources, he is able to spot players who will improve the side (this is clearly obvious with respect to how the team have performed recently). I accept that it's hardly been rivetingly exciting sometimes, but there have been some pretty decent performances.

his recruitment has been a mixed bag. If we go up. i think his recruitment will tell a story

    Prove it.

Someone on here looked at clubs accounts. Various websites suggest this , though i wouldn't put my mortgage on them. Our attendances are about a third higher than our next nearest competitor.

The for the purposes of conjecture on a fans website, that's enough.

Christie said on radio Derby a couple of weeks ago “The Warne haters are just hiding in the bushes waiting to come out “. Sad but true . I think he will need 4 wins in the first 10 games just to stop the pitchforks coming out. The PW/DC friendship will be tested when it comes to funds.

You don't have to hate someone to not like their style of play and/or have concerns about how well they will manage in a higher division.

It is all you’ve got to go on, but as I say, I don’t think he’s necessarily been below par based on wage budget. That’s not the only way to asses performance, but it’s a valid metric.

I do think our situation will be different because I can’t see us having a bottom 3 wage budget. Even then, I think he’ll have a very clear ceiling, but we’ll just have to see.

I'd imagine our budget will be mid table.

Take away the parachute teams and those with owners throwing money at it and we will be in the top 3 of the rest.

You can, but you have to go down the club or ring up etc. By which time people have nipped in online and snapped up the plum ones. You can't just swop online at 5 seconds past 10.00am. Or more likely 20 seconds before 10.00am.

Depends on your financial situation and whether taking a £100 hit affects you.

If you can hold your nerve and are prepared to stand the small extra cost(of losing your early bird discount etc), my advice would be to not renew. Then the second the seats go on general sale after all the renewal period has expired be ready to pounce online as a new customer. Like you do for away tickets. You might think that's a bit of a risk but I am certain you will get yourselves a pair of plum ones, anywhere in the ground, even in the South stand

    why?

You can renew with the early bird, then swap as soon as they go on general sale
