There's nothing like lifting the spirits after a disappointing result with a puppy update. 
Meikle has been eased back on exercise as he's been going through a growth spurt. 
But he's looking a bit steadier. A bit less gangly. 
This is his new fave thing. Basically a small mat made of highly coloured felt strips on a base. You 3"hide" his lunch in the felt petals and he happily snuffles around for quite a while finding the bits. 
Added bonus is he eats slower so doesn't belch in your face after lunch anymore. 
The naughty news is that he's learned to bark at all and sundry so that's got to be unlearned.... ?

Oh hang on a minute... reading it again I think it means Andre Wisdom's brother has confirmed that Andre is training with us. Yeah that's it ? Soz for getting hopes up. 

I'd have thought someone who blagged government handouts to pay Virgin employees and laid a bunch off would have had the good taste not to come back from space in his billionaire plaything.

Charging to 80% and then trickle charging the rest exponentially increases the life of a battery. More recent mobile phones do the same thing.

This tournament has genuinely helped me enjoy football again after an 18 month stretch in which I completely fell out of love with it, mostly thanks to the sheer incompetence and general conduct of DCFC. By the time the next WC rolls around I might have just totally switched off.

Why wouldn’t we? You can’t turn down a sponsorship deal simply because one of their competitors is (allegedly) a fan of the club. 

Well happy with the seats, absolute mission to get into the stadium, unbelievable start,  electric atmosphere.

I had a brilliant job once mowing grass verges and emptying dog bins on council estates. It was a hot summer and I really wanted to keep the job but I could never seem to get in on a Saturday morning. My boss told me not to turn up again if I missed this next Saturday and I gave him my word I'd be there. I went out as usual that Friday night but somehow managed to find myself in Skegness on Saturday morning so had to find a pay phone and make the excuse of my life. I went into great detail about my sore throat and swollen tonsils and by luck the van I was supposed to be in the back of had broken down anyway and it looked like I was actually going to get away with it until my "friend" opened the door and shouted "he's in Skeggy sack him!". I got sacked.

My mind is closed off? Cheers. 

There’s plenty of ways to discover new music. The radio has never been an influence for me. There’s word of mouth, flicking through the list of bands in liner notes, bands that tour with bands I like, music services algorithms, bands I’ve discovered from my old gig promoting days, music documentaries all to name a few. 

Radio is primarily a marketing tool utilised by the big record labels. I’m not saying I don’t like anything they play but they only cater a certain audience. 
 

In honesty, I mainly listen to Heart 80s anyway! ??

I don't think you can infer that purely from them taking that image down. It should have been removed as soon as they sacked Cocu. No point having a massive picture of his face up there if we've sacked him.

PS hope that no local journalists perusing the forum think I am attacking their intellect or work ethic! Far from it. I'm saying they would have a much wider circle of colleagues if local journalism was held in the same esteem it was 25+ years ago.
