Richard Dastard Lee reacted to Archie in EFL statement
Picking this back up again after hearing Rick Parry interviewed on both Talksport2 and Radio Five Live yesterday. Incidentally I emailed the EFL and asked for the Boro and Wycombe submissions to be made public ASAP but have received no reply.
Seems to be a massive contradiction here that I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has picked up on it. In the EFL Q and A statement last Monday they said they were reviewing submissions from the two clubs regarding their claims. However on two radio interviews, Parry says the arbitration panel review had started with Boro and Derby (from last January) but had been held up. He went on to say no legal case had been filed and it's currently an 'in-house matter'. The presenter never asked why arbitration had been held up.
So my question is - are they reviewing submissions from Boro for their claim as stated in their statement last Monday or has arbitration started (from last January)? This seems a massive contradiction to me. It's hard to believe anything listening to Rick Parry. Individual who sounds manipulative and permanently on the defensive.

There will be a further penalty. The EFL always revisit. They disgust me.
I am praying for a whistleblower. They will be found out one day. It’s been going on for years as they hide behind opaque procedures that can seemingly be changed or invented on a whim.

-21 points, 5 transfer windows under embargo, £100k fine, administration, likely relegation. That’s all for Mel’s transgressions, and we’ve largely accepted that. The threat of liquidation due to spurious legal claims is totally separate to that. We can be rightly angered at Mel, and we are, for all the above, and STILL be angry with MFC, WW, and through complicity, the EFL, for the continued vendetta, and it IS a vendetta against the club.
Our punishment, is unprecedented, and they’re still NOT happy. If that’s not vindictive and spiteful I don’t know what is. Pushing a fellow club into oblivion because you have a gripe at someone who’s no longer anywhere near the club. This is why children shouldn’t be allowed to own clubs. In fact I’m being unfair there, not even most children would behave in the way that pube-head and the ambulance chaser are. When an independent regulator is finally installed, the first thing they should do is kick this pair out of the game entirely. Football would be far better off without either of them.

Richard Dastard Lee reacted to Ambitious in Wayne Rooney
We should be happy for Rooney if he gets the opportunity. He's done a lot for the club in the bleakest days in our 138 year history, largely making it not so bleak for the fans on matchdays.
Unfortunately, we can't kid ourselves that a takeover remedies our issues. We are going to be feeling the effects of this for a long time. Wayne Rooney gets the opportunity to really showcase what he can do if he goes to Everton and honestly I would be so happy for him, personally.
I honestly will treat the players and coaches that have been at the club this season as lifelong Derby players. If they are to leave, honestly good for them as they've got to look after their self, their career, their development first and foremost. I just can't appreciate them enough for their fighting spirit and mentality this season. I hope all of them go on to better things and flourish.

From what ive learnt on here this morning a key question that wants asking to the willing to be lenient man from middlesboro is why didnt he do the same to bournemouth when they beat them by 4pts for the championship yet found guilty and made to pay millions in a fine . This surely is now a huge and main point to show he is being vindictive .

I think our local MPs really stepped up to the plate this afternoon on our behalf.
All those on here calling them out on their comments after the meeting with the EFL yesterday should apologise. They were just fact gathering, and their backroom staff had them very well briefed inside twenty-four hours.
There was no politics, just local pride. I  applaud them all.

How has football turned to this? Zero regard for the fans just a bunch of millionaires and billionaires trying to squeeze money out of anything they see as a means for more wealth.

Richard Dastard Lee reacted to Dave Mackay Ate My Hamster in EFL Vs HMRC?
Whilst the EFL are determined to stymie any takeover efforts by our ( reported ) 3 financial suitors by muddying the waters, not approving any takeover until we've resolved the vexatious claims from Middlesbrough and Wycombe, potentially ending in us being 'timed out' and going into insolvency...
What position do you think HMRC - clearly more powerful than our Mickey Mouse football overlords, that is the EFL - will take about being potentially paid duck all if the EFL, Gibson et al persist in this course of action, instead of getting possibly £10-15m from any potential new owners of the reportedly £28m we owe to them?
Surely the former "claimants" can't take precedence over the public coffers, denying the treasury?
Can HMRC usurp these petty squabbles to gain what is owed them and realistically achievable above petty sporting politics?

To be fueled by testerone it means that they have got to have balls and I don't think they have.
They use their privilege and sense of entitlement to persue petty vendenta's. They are as far removed from the real world and our feelings as Boris and his bunch of public school boy bankers.

I would give Gibson and Wycombe nothing! If we negotiate a deal that is admitting guilt! They cannot join the creditors list that’s why they’re hoping for an out of court settlement but in truth this parasitic behaviour is making me very angry …it’s not as if we beat Boro in the final either it’s just pathetic and both clubs should be ashamed of themselves …I would if it were us ..it’s petty and at a crucial time when admin is trying to save our club two bob teams like Wycombe and Boro are in effect holding us to ransom …I repeat I would pay them nothing !! And it would upset me if I heard we were negotiating with these blood sucking parasites
the efl sit back knowing that there very own rules they created have holes in them and no club should be able to do what both of these tinpot outfits are doing it’s nothing short of scandalous
so if we admit to cheating !! which is a term that seems too harsh considering our initial paperwork was signed off by the efl then surely we can counter that by suing Villa QPR and the EFL ….I mean you couldn’t make this up…and yet the EFL are not letting the takeover happen with it these issues being resolved so effectively saying pay or go into liquidation …??????????? I hope Gibson shows his face at the upcoming Boro game !!!

Folk need to remember that the administrators have to follow a set process and are bound by rules that ensure they do their best for the creditors (not the fans!). If they breach those rules they’d be in deep do-do with the authorities and wouldn’t be able to practice again. They’re not allowed to drag the process out to line their own pockets (as some are suggesting), they’re not obliged (or allowed) to make all of the details of bids public, nor are they allowed to sell the club to the loudest bidder just because some supporters think he’s the messiah…. If we end up going bust, it’s Morris that’s to blame, not the admins….

Does Rooney have a quality team to work with.
Has Rooney had significant investment made available for spending in January.
Have the auditors guaranteed that potential investors have one week to get their bids on the table for Derbys sale.
Do new managers sometimes get lucky breaks, as in my opinion happened at Barnsley.
Did Mel Morris sell of Derbys best players weakening the team, to where they were easy to beat because they are made of youngsters and old men.
Does Derby have one of the oldest defences in the league.
Does Derby have a quality regularly scoring striker.
Does Derby have a talented and ball winning Midfield.
Even given that scenario, has Rooney got the club at least drawing the majority of the games this season.
Remember without the 12 point deduction, the club would be almost mid table and that's given all these things which are out of Rooneys hands.
Remember most quality managers would not want to be Derbys manager, under these circumstances and with the club at the foot of the table.
Remember Rooneys worth millions, he could easily walk away, but he's chosen to fight for Derby.
If the fans stop supporting the manager and players due to circumstances, that demoralises them. Under those circumstances how can they perform at their best.

What a fantastic find, I've heard a lot of the interviews before on Radio Derby's 'The Derby County Story' series and tape but it's really interesting to see the non-personalities on film.
One factual inaccuracy though, Tim Ward wasn't a local lad, he was from Cheltenham, hence his west country accent

I certainly bear him no ill will, I just fail to understand why he has gone down this route, if he is as big a fan as he says he is?
I don't think his Radio Derby interview has done him any favours at all, it was about as successful as Prince Andrew's TV interview with Emily Maitliss (except the night at Pizza Express), and look where that got him - sent to Coventry!

Will the EFL be fined for the lack of quality of referees they are appointing for our matches. They are many examples do far of blatrnt penalties not being given including the florist match and last night, the penalty given against us v Salford. The the bookings we get when opposition players doing the same get nothing not to mention the corner that never was last Saturday (not Friday) . Need I go on except not a word about poor referees from the EFL
