we still owe a lot of money to football creditors which will have to go out of accounts so anybody expecting us to start spending any amount of money on transfer fees will probably be mistaken.

How many years do we get to pay them off , I thought they had to be paid in full on the point of take over i.e in the purchase price

I would be shocked if Kirshner turns out to be a credible buyer. I suspect he’s just enjoying the limelight and will disappear as soon as he needs to stump up the cash. I think he’s buying time in the hope that someone with actual money throws their hat into the ring with him

I'm sure the wrist slashes are out in force tonight but it's been obvious for a while now.... We need a total reset.

First and foremost - let's stay in business. Number one priority - get a new owner and as soon as possible.

Points deductions.... The squad is so poor, we'd struggle to avoid relegation even without a points deduction. That could be offset slightly by Bielik's return and acquisitions of forwards in January but, by then, it may be too late anyway.

So let's accept whatever points deductions the EFL want to throw at us, on condition that they're imposed this season. Then it's over and done with.

Assuming then that we're going down, let's start building for next season in League One.

That means blooding the youngsters that will still be with the club. Not playing each one in every game, not leaving out all the old pros. But giving each young'un experience alongside a mentor. For example Cashin playing with either Davies or Jagielka.

Assuming Bird, Knight and Bielik will go, playing Watson alongside Shinnie and Morrison. That kind of thing.

Rooney has been really dignified throughout these nightmare months but the jury is still out for him tactics wise. After the last couple of games, there are question marks against his motivational ability too. I wonder what Curtis was referring to regards the training sessions.

But anyhow, Rooney is the magnet for investors and deserves "a go" with a clean slate.

So let's put the bad stuff behind us, and start building this club up again. Even if it means losing the current crop of good young players and starting in League One.

One thing for sure, the support is fantastic. The fans deserve a club going forward, not sinking further into the mire. Let's get the crap out of the way. Move on up. COYR ?

Can we buy anyone in January , I thought budget conditions say we cant

Not as bad as I first feared: it seems like we have an opportunity to sign the players already at the club to longer deals and protect the registrations of players we don't want to leave without breaking any rules.

I am not surprised regarding not paying transfer or loan fees. I'm not sure why we would want to anyway? I guess it would be nice to bed in some players in prior to next season, but it's far from a necessity. I would look to move on any player who doesn't have a future here in January and sign the ones that do. We have a long list: Lawrence, Buchanan, Shinnie, Byrne, Baldock, Kazim-Richards, Roos, Morrison, Allsop, Stearman, Forsyth & Davies. Not to mention academy players such as Dylan Williams, etc.

I would imagine Lawrence, Byrne, Buchanan and Shinnie leave as better offers will be on the table. The rest I can imagine will probably stick around if we want them too. If we can pocket some money and free the budget up for next season then it's probably worth it. I just hope an owner gets the opportunity to make that call rather than an administrator.

I cannot see them letting anyone go unless forced to by administrators ,  we basically cannot bring anyone in  so why would you let anyone go

Right, let's get building for League One then!

Any player who's definitely not going to be here next season wouldn't be playing again in my team now. Give as many academy lads as possible some first team experience. Get some experienced (Champ/L1) heads in on loan in Jan that we could possibly pick up for free in the summer.

What's the punishment for deliberately fielding a weakened team  ;-)

It didn’t say they refused to comment or gave a no comment response. However I could of and I missed it in between  the adverts, headlines of a Husband leaving his wife after spotting this in this picture, or the other clickbait articles splitting up the report (which was mainly regurgitated news from previous weeks)

Oh how I would love to know whats in the picture

What do you expect them to do? There's nothing more to be investigated is there?! They have no access to our accounts, the HMRC bill nor P&S. They asked for a comment on the unpaid transfer fees and didn't get one.

    Really, what else?

Investigate ? Call in favours ? Use contacts ? Not simply ring the press office at Derby County and say 'any news' , Perhaps I have watched too much Lou Grant or Press gang

  9. Really frustrated with the lack of any comms from Club or EFL along with everyone on here , but I am pretty disappointed with the output from the local journals , be it paper or Radio, I am sure that they will say that there hands are tied and that they ask DCFC for a response everyday but get no comment, further more let me state that I have a lot of time and respect for the guys at Radio Derby  (plus also zero time or anything else for the click bait that calls itself the Derby Evening telegraph) , however is Investigative Journalism dead ? or is it smothered by a don't ask questions that will get us banned ?

National Papers will only give so much space/time to DCFC  and then only the more sensational news bites , a local journalist has a audience who are invested in there local club and therefore digging for detail must be worth while
