How about some songs that don't involve foul language? In particular the F word... if you don't Fing bounce, and we don't give a F, F the EFL....and of course the Collymore song which was on show again on saturday...non of this puts us in a good place when you hear it in the background on TV for example. Not exactly what you want your kids to hear is it?

    It's an f-ing football match.

If you don't think your kids swear at school or listen to it on YouTube, or have managed to avoid all streaming services, or never played online computer games, then I don't know what to f-ing say.

    F this.

French energy bills only going up 4%. Covid presumably didn't reach France.

You might want to read up on what will happen down the line on that one.

No country is safe from the prices. To think otherwise is stupid.

It's like trying to prove the Russian economy is fine by posting the price of Roubles. Basic economics being ignored.

  3. Very important. I had started to get the feeling we were believing we tire in the second half even though we are nearing full fitness. We just look mentally like we fall back and expect to get runover in midfield as soon as the second half starts.

All the talk of a short pre-season and how we like to start not fully fit in the first game anyway. That was fine, 2 weeks a go. Not now, and I think mentally that will do us a world of good.

Might be the turning point of the season. We need this mentality away from home too.

I wonder what level these ladies would play at in the mens league. It’s like the debate of where would Rangers and Celtic slot into the EFL.

I just wonder, would there ever a be a circumstance where a lady does ‘sod this, I can earn more money playing for a championship side’, and then sign for a mens team, and would that be allowed.

What is the money like these days at the top level. Do players in the WSL earn equivalent to fairly crap male players in the championship?

There will never be a woman good enough to play in a professional football league team in this country.

The USA women get done over by regional Under 15s lads.

No debate to be had, it would never happen.

  5. He will be DC United's Assistant Soccer Ball Coacher in a few months time.

Nah, this is sensible. Rosenior talks very well, is obviously very intelligent and he's made a good start and impression. But I wouldn't be going around tieing him and backroom staff down to long-term contracts anytime soon. Even if it means we get bitten further down the line.

  6. 35 million on a Championship standard full-back and an unproven lump upfront.

Not much improvement on Spence and Davis really.

Add in the wages, the promotion bonuses and Henderson's 100k to the already bloated wage bill and it would seem they have already spunked 50 million on naff all.

Add on the 30 million for the other unproven defenders and their wages and you're just short of blowing 90-100 million. Crazy.

So easy to waste the riches of the PL.

it's okay laughing at that but why have we beaten boro? i certainly hope its because hes a local lad and doesnt want to move. and not down to us offering more money, if its the latter we have learnt nothing.

Give it a rest. We can't offer stupid wages or long contracts. You know this.

It will be because he is local and doesn't want to move. Especially to a sh*t hole in the arse end of nowhere.  And the fact he is guaranteed playing time.

David Clowes is a big Rams  fan.  Seen him at loads of games home and away.

Also had an estimated wealth of 252 million in 2018. Adding 50 million quid on from the previous year.

Property developers like Kirkland seemed to have made money through the pandemic too. I'd like to think he's amassed North of 300 million by now. Obviously not all spare cash.

I'd say he has the money to finance a League One promotion and then a lower to mid table Championship club. Which will do.

Not really down to me is it

If you had a little self awareness then you would realise by now that this protracted argument you're inflicting on people really should be now had via personal messenger or just canned full stop.

    Fill your boots though.

It's posts like this that should be binned.

You are moaning about a debate you're not interested in to argue that you shouldn't be reading it.

I think proof that over £100 million of money is either owed in loans or not is quite a big subject in a thread with the title of "Administration"

And you're extending it into an argument of whether or not you find it worth reading. And then arguing the point.

    Which posts need binning again?

Trevor birch statement has made me the most worried I’ve been about liquidation, it’s like they know we are going bust and trying to cover their arses and make out like they tried but couldn’t, absolute horrible feeling

There's many bidders at the table - we aren't going into liquidation,  it just means that this could rumble on for some time.

There is no point in checking this thread daily (I probs still will) as any major breakthrough is, in my opinion, at least a month away.

What an utter waste of airspace that organisation is. He's basically written down his "do" list whilst making no commitment of any note and then tbrown in a  patronising comment or two about how complicated it all is.

    Jog on, dimwit.... ?

Sounds like the only thing he's done is ask for some calls with the anonymous bidder's solicitors, that haven't yet been acknowledged.

    That's it. It's shambolic.

  12. If anyone thinks Mike Ashley is the bloke to buy us in the next 2 weeks, that ain't happening. Whilst he holds the position of not wanting to pay the administrators a penny, and low-balling creditors, he will be bottom of the pile.

The only way Mike Ashley gets us is if the club goes right down to a liquidation deadline and the administrators agree to only taking a percentage of their 'earnings' as part of the rescue deal to stop the club liquidating.

We need someone other than Mike Ashley if we are to start on anything other than - 15 points and have a chance of putting a competitive squad together and keeping Rooney for the coming season.

Mike Ashley is always waiting for that deadline. He does this multiple times a year. He must be thinking Kirchner has pushed the deadline so close that he now stands a chance. I have nothing against his approach. He's a fine contingency plan to have, but we need someone else.

    In my opinion, of course.
