Appointments of Morris or Rosenior would be exciting and forward thinking. Warnock, Mowbray, Monk or any of the other managerial merry go round are a no from me.

    think outside the box Chester.
Why does a concourse have to be a cold, windy, concrete&steel, soviet-union 60s style?
Why can't you walk out of a pub straight onto a terrace?
I know the East Stand concourse could be widened out another 15metres.

As a parent who takes his kids usually- there is precious little reason to get there early.
Not much novelty stuff in the clubshop, just racks of over priced shirts. The pubs are spilling over with people and nothing is especially family orientated.
Little interaction before/half time and at full-time everyone streams off home. Food is all junk and there are massive queues at half time.
Nothing that would make them want to go earlier or anything memorable or interesting outside of the game itself (occasionally). It is pretty sterile and totally relies on them liking football,  there is very little 'experience' or day out about it.
Possibly it doesn't work as the majority just want to turn up and then get off home...but there is a hell of a lot that could be done to make it seem more of a family day out that's for sure.

    I'm the same.
Two buses into town, a few pints in the Tap, catch the bus to the ground, in and at my seat just in time for kickoff.
For a decade or more, a group of friends and I would do 3 days at Cheltenham Festival.
Wake up, breakfast then up to the course, always a few hours before the first race.
Loads to do to while away the time, from bands in the Marquee to the shopping village, and of course loads of food and drink offerings.
After the racing, no need to rush off in the crowd, they'd always be a band or something happening to keep you there, while the punters thinned out.
Obviously that's a once a year event with a much larger crowd, but there's no reason we couldn't scale it down to fit.

Quantuma are an absolute shambles, an incompetent bunch of serial liars who have now taken to threatening the fan base for calling them out on their gross incompetence. It’s clear that they haven’t got a clue what to do next and are so out of their depth it’s frightening.

Over these last few months, I've invested so much emotional capital in following this never-ending saga and trying to understand the mess my beloved club is in.
This takeover is very complex. But equally, on the other  hand, it is very simple. The figures don't stack up. It's a combination of factors: poor governance, poor management, bad luck and COViD.
Now we're at the juncture where someone has got to take a hit.
If we get liquidated, it's the employees, players and fans who take the hit. Through no fault of their own. Hardly fair, right?
Will the EFL take a hit? Unlikely. They are  useless. Utterly useless.
Will the HMRC take a hit? Nope. Very unlikely.
Will Mell take a hit? He bloody-well should do, as this mess was all set in motion by him. The reality is if we get liquidated, he won't be able to step foot in the City of Derby ever again. Does anyone want that on their CV? The person who killed off a founder member of the football league? I'd hope not.
Or will the buyers take a hit, by paying more for the club than it's actually worth?
It's a hard one to call.
Hopefully MM and the (eventual) buyer will meet half way and share the hit.
    Otherwise it's us, guys.
If we do go under, the EFL, MM and the EFL should ALL hang their heads in shame.
The only people to come out of this with any credit, so far, are the ones in line to take the hit.

Simply ALL Morris’s fault 100%.Claims to be a supporter /lover of the club but put us into this debacle. It has all taken so long because he is trying to get the best deal for himself not dcfc or the creditors. When Bolton were in a similar mess Phil Davies  who had lost £166 million paid all the local Bolton creditors out of his own pocket. He said he couldn’t live with the shame of destroying local people’s lives.A far cry from Mr Morris who should hang his head in shame.

Other than supporting on match days there's little to nothing else we can do, Supporters groups are treated as mushrooms, Fans are seen as cash cows, MPs release twitter feeds of no concequence.
The EFL haven't beaten us, They've certainly written our death throws, The nails in the Coffin were all lined up, Jagielka unable to re-sign, Shinnie moved on were 2 huge nails that were knocked into our Coffin.
I'm a realist with a little optimism thrown in, Until mathmatically impossible that we can't stay in the Championship then there's hope, I believe the EFL will have a party if we are relegated, It was their plan from the start, Parry, Birch et al have gone above and beyond in their efforts to put road blocks in our way, Once we were looking to make a fist of it things they seemed to have changed, Boro/Wycombe dragged on, Referees conspiracy I don't believe, EFL encouraging the Cheating Mantra imo has had the biggest effect on all in the Championship, We're the boogey man who lives under the bed, We're seen as a club that will get what they believe we deserve.
It rankles with me and has most of my adult life that oragisations will, Can and do have a very negative impact on peoples lives, Football for many 100s of 1000s of people is an escape from the humdrum of ordinary life...for what ever ordinary life is, There's no tub thumping from me, It's all been down to one person, That one person who gave Hope, Enjoyment, Excitement, Sadness and eventually Despair as this great club of ours is being lead away to the scaffold, Our only escape...24 points to be played for, Untill it's impossible to stay up...then there's hope.

This is why I cannot understand any sympathetic posts about Morris
I can forgive trying to get us promoted by giving managers funds that we don’t have to buy players but I CANNOT forgive not paying our taxes! Running up millions in debt to HMRC is scandalous and being a so called businessman this part of running a business is part and parcel of every single company and business in the land yet he run up millions of debt ….I’m so down it’s unreal and yes there are worse things going on in the world I get that …but I just don’t see anyone spending 30m without the stadium …Morris should not charge anything for PP after what he left behind!!!!???

Hmm. I think most of us would have said: 'Great, gamble as much of your personal fortune as you want, just make sure you keep enough back to settle your debts without ruining the club.'
We aren't facing extinction because Morris spent so much money, so fruitlessly, chasing his dream. We are in a mess because he wouldn't or couldn't spend the money to fix what he so spectacularly broke.
Fans couldn't really be expected to know how much money he had (or didn't have) and can't really be blamed for taking him at his word - it's not like he ever gave the impression he was racking up unpayable debts from which he'd just walk away (with the stadium in his pocket to boot).

I want to see that printed somewhere on next seasons shirts and beyond. Back of the collar, inside the shirt under the neckline, on the sleeve.
Yes I said next season, fully aware of the current situation.
It's not club generated marketing to sell tickets, it's not a club generated ethos that's drawn criticism.
It's words the fans have used in response to performances on the pitch.
It's words the fans have used as they are proud of this team, proud of the team that plays in Pride Park.
Let's not just have it printed on the shirt, but plastered around Moor Farm, the changing rooms at Pride Park.
Make it visible and not forget why it's on the shirt.
All we can ever ask for is to give 100%, let's not allow the players to forget that either, it's not just a 21/22 situational inspiring song that's quickly forgotten.
    We'll fight 'til the end.

It’s difficult not to conclude that we’ve seen gross EFL incompetence throughout this saga. A worthy governance institution should enforce rules in a timely manner and offer clarity. The FFP regulations are specifically supposed to ensure that members cannot get into these situations. On those grounds, the EFL has failed. While Derby supporters know that ultimate blame lies with Mel Morris, Derby South MP Margaret Beckett spoke for many in saying: “If Derby are to be liquidated, none of those involved will be forgiven.”

Personally think Mel is correct on his covid argumement and the tv rights .This has obviously upset a few big fish in the efl , which has also meant he wasnt liked and watched closely he didnt want to tow the line and they dont want to be told what to do . His biggest plus is why no accountant on the 2nd independant panel , neither radio Derby or any newspapers are reporting this as odd behaviour from the efl . As it does look very much like a stitch up . His downfall is the stadium sale although tech legal it was legally cheating and losing far to much money on players and managers the club could afford . So he has gambled at the clubs livelihoods expense .A gamble that can lead to liquidation whichever way you look at it that puts mel on a par with Maxwell . Sorry to say i liked Mel but on quite a few occasions he has gambled to much or thought he was to clever . You need a safer pair of hands on the tiller even if that makes for mundane transfer windows and football .

I certainly bear him no ill will, I just fail to understand why he has gone down this route, if he is as big a fan as he says he is?
I don't think his Radio Derby interview has done him any favours at all, it was about as successful as Prince Andrew's TV interview with Emily Maitliss (except the night at Pizza Express), and look where that got him - sent to Coventry!
