Well first thing I want to say thankyou bottom of my heart with out you I know what might have been that would be a nightmare that I did not want. I will back you and rooney and the lads that will were that great derby county shirt with pride and what it stands for and we shall make derby county side great again but in my eyes gaints derby county has started to wake up. I know with rooney at the helm I think good times will be back soon.

If there's one thing that's become clear over the last few years it's how easily people follow the popular narrative without bothering to think for themselves. 12 months ago we were up there with Genghis Khan and Hitler in most people's books because that's what the media told them to think. I'm sure many of you have had the misfortune of engaging with fans of other teams on the topic only to discover how woefully misinformed they were on the charges against Derby and the reasons for the points deductions. Then a few more sympathetic articles were written about what a good job Rooney was doing under difficult circumstances and half the country wants us to stay up. It's all complete nonsense.

His downbeat persona is why I stopped listening to his radio commentary. I know he's a Rams fan but the default to negativity is a literal turn off.

It's not about us feeling reassured, it's about Chris Kirchner feeling reassured enough that the ground purchase will happen, that has persuaded him to sign up.
He is the one taking all the risks.
We all said that you can't buy a stadium in a few days - heck it's taking months to get a simple house purchase through at the moment - but he must know the money and motivation is there to get the deal completed.
