Carnero reacted to DiggerB in Paul Warne
Presumably DC should wait until just after PW has started the bounce at the final whistle on the 27th, kick him in b******* then hand him his P45? Unbelievable , Jeff!

I'm assuming that you are expecting Clowes to fund this pay off of his employee that will have just met his goal?
Hopefully, Clowes will realise the money will be better spent on funding the squad for next season.

A century stand from Luis Reece and Brooke Guest and some rain has pretty much secured the draw.

Considering he's talking to me, that's not the case at all. Long story short, me, my lad, and a few of his mates waited for the players after the Bolton game for pics, and I waited a bit longer than most for a pic with the gaffer, but I guess he was either still basking in the post victory glow at the bar, or he'd popped off early. Fast forward to Saturday and my lad's mates were again waiting outside and one of them told him I was a Derby fan of 40 years & I was gutted I'd missed him a couple of weeks ago. Warney politely asked him for his phone, asked what my name was, and hit Record. Top bloke...

You've seen all of the posts that I've quoted.
They weren't constructive.
They weren't an analysis of the team selection.
Just the usual negative claptrap from the usual suspects.

Those seasons all had one thing in common, a lack of widespread social media.
The moaners and the WUMs never had a platform in those years beyond their own small social circle.
I'm sure that I would have been a lot happier this season, if I hadn't constantly reading some of the negative rubbish on here. But I like to read and write about the Rams with a vast majority of the fans on here and so put up with it. My way of combating it, is to have a few days away from the forum after a defeat or particularly poor display.

His parent club is Luton. They'll probably use him in the Championship next season I'd have thought.

He had a good very game yesterday, if it wasn’t for Sonny’s brace he would have been my MOTM, especially if he’d finished that 1v1 chance. I never saw him as a left wing back, especially the way he tackled, so credit to PW and coaching staff for a very astute bit of coaching.

I remember a time, not very long ago, when fans bemoaned that our corners and set-pieces never came to anything. Now we're the most effective team in the division in that regard so, of course, fans have to find something else to criticise the manager for, despite the fact that, when Orient actually had to come out and play, we created enough opportunities to have more than doubled our score. Imagine what Dwight Gayle might have done with those chances...
I hope we keep banging in those corners and crosses in the remaining two games. Any team will struggle to defend the quality of cross we produced consistently yesterday. Of course, if we can also take chances like the ones we did create yesterday, that would make us all much less stressed.

Which you will love so you can keep posting your negative comments. Your entrenched in your views - at least get your facts right - it’s Joe Ward - I think the reference to Wilson being a buffolo is more that he goes rampaging down the wing rather than he is built like a steam train. Wilson certainly has technical skill - I’m sure most will agree.

Why? NML although not playing at his best as a second striker (I'm not sure that playing there is the main reason) is doing ok and CBT is a very good straight swap. Barks is currently getting the nod as the substitute replacement, but he's on a very good run of form compared with earlier in the season. CBT when on song I believe is better than Barks. NML won't be playing for even, or even a 46 game season. I believe that CBT may actually thrive on being played more centrally, where with his power and pace will be able to go either side and have more room.

Carnero reacted to Crewton in League Table since October defeat at Stevenage
What it shows is from a nadir which, figuratively speaking, had fans reaching for the revolver, the team has been on a run of 100-points a season, which is impressive by most standards, yet still not good enough for some it seems.

Trying to figure out why her gender is relevant here, that is the box you are referring as being ticked?
You are aware that all other referees are male and have been making bad decisions week in week out since the dawn of the game, yet their gender is never relevant in the aftermath.
It's those poor decisions which has led to the introduction of VAR, which again has made some terrible decisions even with all this technology by a bunch of men sat in a room together.
I haven't seen what happened yesterday, assuming you are correct and it was a ludicrous decision, it won't be her first nor her last, likewise with every referee in the game.
If your first thought however is to come here and moan about a woman making one bad decision out of how many correct decisions over a 90 minute game of football, does come across as a bit Joey Barton like.

What is the box ticking? She was pretty much head and shoulders above the other referees at our level and was correctly promoted to the level above.

Carnero reacted to Sam_Brown in Pompy fan here. We drew with Bolton today. Rest is down to you guys.
Think Portsmouth and Derby going up is the best result judging the season as a whole. Both too big for this league anymore. Hopefully the draw we gave Bolton today (tbh they could be right to feel bad not to take all three points) will be enough to get you guys over the line.
Good result for you guys. Hopefully see you in the championship next season.

Carnero reacted to The Key Club King in Paul Warne
I've been watching Derby for 40 years and every year many people say "it's a really poor league this year". The quality of football does actually improve year on year - watch anything from the 90s and it looks like non-league football.
