The tactics are the problem here again. To slow in possession in our own half. Acres of space in front but don't utilise it and continue to pass around between the backs.
People giving out about Collins have a point but he is getting no service and regularly shows for the ball. Can't be said by Bird. My hide and seek champion yet again. Needs to get on the ball and and move forward. Waste of a position at the minute.
A point but, these are useless.

Many of us seen glimpses of Eiran's qualities in pre season last year but, the position we were in couldn't promote him to the first team.
His progression once he had the chance to play has been remarkable. Saturday was my first time I have seen Derby play live since lockdown and so first time seeing Cashin play. His MOM display on Sat was even more remarkable because of his age, position and obvious experience. The most impressive thing for me was how he marshalled the defense both physically and verbally. He looked like the seasoned pro who had been in promotion winning teams of the past. Stearman played his part but, cashin was heads above everyone literally.
Not often as a Derby and Ireland supporter that you can get properly excited but, here I am.
Well played, keep it up.
Thanks Mr Clowes.

First home game for six months. Cashin was different class, Well Paul McGrath class.

Over coaching is a thing I see creeping into the game. It takes the natural instinct from the player and they become robot like. Managers drill into the players how they want to play and that is done to the letter in fear of getting dropped from the team. I see that in the current team. The lack of urgency is so fustrating for me. No quick frees or throw ins. Free kicks passed around the back instead of testing the opposition back line. Goal kick took 30 secs to take today when we were 1 down due to the fact that we have to pass to the keeper and to and fro for a while until someone lumps it forward. It's so predictable.
On the upside we could have been out of sight in the first half and played some great stuff without that final ball. Some Tweeks in players out of position which will get sorted in the coming weeks.
Frustrating overall but we move on.

The benefit of opposition teams putting dedicated players on Bird is that it potentially opens up space for other midfielders. We just have to play it smart and cut out the hospital passes, of which there were multiple on Saturday. A few times the pass was underhit then an Oxford players eyes would light up and go flying in to a challenge.
It should be a benefit but, bird does not show often enough for the ball to drag the players out of position, Therefore leaving no space in midfield for our centre backs to pass through, hence the reason why they gave the ball away at times when they had to play like Beckenbauer.

Hourihane didn't influence the game as we hoped but came up with the goal at the end. Sibley turned that game in our favor really when he came on. Good win plenty to work on with fluidity.

Probably the best team with the exception of mcgoldrick we could put out at the min. With all of the signings we have made just shows how short we are when you look at the bench. Don't mind knight at right back. He linked up well with NML.

Good move for him with European football on the agenda and the fact that gers will pay big wages. No loss as a Derby player in my opinion. Too little too late from last seasons performances to rekindle any love for him as a player of the previous years. Yeah he scored some good goals and the odd man of the match performances but not enough 7 out of 10 games to warrant being captain or hold any endearment from me. Bye bye Tom.

Not for me. Just doesn't score enough goals.

Showed glimpses of a real good footballer last year. Will develop further and be a good option for Derby this season. Good loyalty showed. Well done

Think he will get a move somewhere. Can't begrudge knighty if he did go. Would fetch a tidy sum of money. He has given Derby his all, as he should do. Hear Leeds are sniffing round him and would be a good signing for them ( please don't go to Leeds). Maybe frank will take him to Everton. Hope he stays but, have my doubts.

Terrible, nervous, negative footballer at left back. Better at centre back when he played there for a game and a bit. Not sorry that he is leaving. Good luck though

Great signing. Agree with most who have said it's their favorite so far. Will be immense in league one and another full Irish international by the end of the season.

Really sad and stressful news that has been released tonight. Not at any time did I ever think we would go into liquidation because how many parties were interested in buying the club. Still think that.
This news is a real setback for our upcoming season. Majority of fans seemed to think that we will keep players staff etc. But this news destroys next season for me.
Really low point. Sick of refreshing pages and tweets.
Mental health of all fans and people associated with Derby is a real concern tonight.
Try to stay positive in your everyday life and please God we get a positive outcome quickly. Look after yourselves and others. ?

Why has it taken for team Derby to have a scheduled meeting with the admins only for team Derby to announce that the admins are going to announce something later that day about announcing that they will announce something by the end of this week.
My head is spinning writing it let alone believing in it.

Thing is Keogh has to go down as a Derby sort of legend who is an Irish international.
I know I give out, but, possibly we could have 4 international players with Watson included next season. That's positive.

All on the management team tonight. No excuses. Yet again we have been bullied. Put it up to them, show the fight that way then play your the football. I don't want to see any social media tonight saying we go again rubbish. That was a poor limited rovers team.
Buchanan, Bird, Thompson, Knight and Lawrence very poor.
Coventry no roll overs. Experience needed on Sat.
Stearman, Bielik even Forsyth to start on Sat.
Should have had a few draws recently but a bit green in decision making.
Feel the worst now for this journey. Shame really.

Strength and experience necessary for any survival hopes. Too many youngsters. That majority of the bench should have started tonight. Far too weak at set pieces and the marking is all wrong. Hope that kills you in this case I'm afraid

Regardless of players we decide to play it comes down to the tactics and style of play. Simple as that. 75% possession and very few attempts at goal is not good enough.
