Please don't stray as far as The Noahs Ark next door though. I've been in hundreds of different pubs round the UK and in terms of being close to someone ready to jam a pot glass in your face for no reason, it's in my Top 1.
Been in loads of times, normally after a skinfull and because it's between the White Horse and Mcturks kebab house, but never had any trouble.

If you like it a bit livelier than standing around discussing hops and real ale, pop into the White Horse opposite the bus station and enjoy the music. They usually have live bands on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and it's usually aimed at the more mature folk that enjoy Ska or Northern soul.
If you like a bit of Northern Soul, it's a busy weekend in Derby with at least 3 different events taking place.
I'll be at the 102 club on Friargate on Saturday night, £5 entry 7:30 till midnight, but there is also one at the Bluenote on Saddlergate that is free and runs from 4 pm till 10pm and another on Sunday at The Venue that runs from 3pm till 1:30 am and has a all female DJ line up and costs £7.

Very poor today and got what we deserved.
Their goal should never have been allowed after Wilson was fouled, but they were the better team and seemed to want it more, although the time wasting did get boring after a while and the ref allowed it to happen.

Fixed that to add important context for why people might be unhappy.
Maybe because those people have no grip on reality and belong to the I want it now brigade.

Could someone confirm if calling a rival fan attending a match with children a "padeo" is good old fashioned atmosphere or being a nob?
Depends on who's child it is.

There's a difference between creating an atmosphere and being a knob. Unfortunately we have a lot of fans who fail to know the difference.
And a hell of a lot who are up themselves.

Gayle has that turn of pace that Collins lacks and it makes a massive difference in being able to position yourself to capitalise on through balls.
I've got a hell of a lot of time for Collins and his goals and workrate are a major reason that we are where we are, but I'd love to know the difference in the offside count since Gayle had been in.

Really, so drug taking, throwing stuff that could cause injury and vandalism is just letting off steam? There are signs all around the pride park about such behaviour, yet nothing is done home or away when it happens?
Very rare to see Derby fans vandalising things at PP and on the rare occasions things are thrown, it's normally returning what has been thrown.

Bit harsh mate. (If you don't mind me saying!)
We all got up to stuff in the past, but that don't make it right/acceptable/civilised/considerate.
It's all well and good if everyone involved is up for it.
But if said flying seats/coins/phlegm/rotten tomatoes etc rained down on 86 year old @oldfogeyram, and his 9 year old great grandson @you'veneverlivedsonram, they'd have every right to be a bit miffed, when all they did was to come out to enjoy the footy together before the former pops his Dutch footwear! How would you react if someone shoved a banger (firework) in yer airbrick this evening?
Or you had an egg smashed all over your brand spanking new Cortina windscreen when you come out for work tomorrow?
How about the fire brigade banging on your door at 11pm tonight, because "We've received a 999 call..."?All jolly japes bitd. None of them are life-threatening of course*, but they're still not what we want in this day and age, eh?
I doubt anyone expects sanitised conditions/behaviour/language at the match, but there has to be limits, and going back 4-5 decades is no way to move forwards!
Yours sincerely
Nancy.
NEC Massiv.*The Fire brigade may well argue that! Fair enough!
It maybe a bit harsh, but I get sick and tired of reading posts criticising our fans and asking for arrests or bans from people who have either never done anything wrong or are hypocrites.
I often read or hear people going on about the lack of atmosphere or comparing it to the intimidating atmosphere at the Baseball Ground, yet they expect the people creating that atmosphere to be choirboys and not the lads who have been in the pub for a few hours who are the ones who really get the singing going.
I'm in D block and have dodged broken seats and bottles and am in no way calling for a return to the old days and have no problem with people being punished for breaking and throwing seats, but it seems like we have some oversensitive souls who want people banned for bad language and not behaving in a proper manner.

Why are they not dealt with then? Grab them by the collar, ID them and remove their away memberships immediately, and ban them from pride park. Simple.
Yeah let's turn all the ground into one massive west stand.
I'm hardly a young pup, but still enjoy a bit of back and forth with opposition fans and sometimes have to remind myself that I'm 60 with aches in places that I never used to have.
But compared to the stuff we used to get up to, the fans you want banning are angels and are just blowing off a bit of steam. Maybe they should all stay at home and play on their X boxes and leave the football to the flask and blanket brigade!

There must be a cut off point. If you've not been nicked since 1982 then i believe you should be ok. 😉
Best leave it a couple of years.

Do they check to see if you have any football related convictions before offering you the position? Asking for a friend.

Can't grumble at the first price increase for years and the club needs to be run in a way that they can be sustainable and be able to compete.

I don't know which block are which tbh, all I know this was coming from up the top near the away fans segregation. I'm towards the top to the right of the goal (as you look at the pitch), but don't know which block I'm in.
There are people at the top of D and E blocks that sing it and I've been known to have a bit of a pop myself occasionally.
The main gripe is the fans that came into the south stand because they liked the atmosphere, but seem to want to savour it without contributing and then post on social media about the lack of atmosphere.

Well said @VulcanRam.
The D block have become a hindrance to the atmosphere in the southstand in my opinion.
We're all Derby aren't we?
I'm in D block and don't join in with the chants at other Derby fans.

3 more points on the board and more pressure applied to the chasing pack, who couldn't be happy with that!

Great point away from home and luckily for them VAR isn't available in league 1.
