You do know we've been to the wire as a Club more than once. This time Clowes rescued us, previous times it was someone else. It's the Club that matters and that is being debated, not what a good guy Clowes was for rescuing us.

It's definitely the club that matters and right now Clowes knows exactly what he can and can't do to safeguard the future of the club, whereas the people calling him a moron don't have a clue.

Right now Clowes could well be calling himself a moron for saving the club followed by so many nobheads.

What matters is on the pitch for fans most couldn't give 2 f**** about the rest if we are abysmal on the pitch on a Saturday and have a manager that most are growing to hate quite frankly. I am not saying that Clowes is a bad owner but he will be soon be viewed as one irregardless of any community work if things continue how they are on the pitch and he takes too long to act and keeps faith in Warne.

So you reckon the 10,000+ that marched from town were more interested in winning the match than saving the club.

Maybe you and a few more need to realise that without Clowes nothing would be happening on the pitch and you'd have to find something else to bitch and whine about.

    Knowledge???

3 years is your average contract. We’ve just come out of administration and we give a lengthy contract to a manager.

Nice one for trying to be clever though. Your mum must be so proud.

She's been dead for 58 years, nice one for trying to be clever though.

How long did it take to see evidence of that with Cloughie and how long has Warne already had?

Poor first season finishing 18th after being 4th at one stage.

Promoted 2nd season,  but 7th after 13 games.

Longson did give him the money to spend though and we signed the likes of Macfarland, Carlin and Hinton in his first season.

  5. Brian Clough was a division 4 manager when he came here and wasn't a instant success, he and Taylor grew and improved with the club.

Warne is a league 1 manager currently and because of his time yo yoing with Rotherham, loads will say he's found his level.

I'm not comparing him to Clough,  but whose to say that he can't learn and improve with us given the time?

Highlights should just shown the main chances in a game so if there's a glaring obvious opportunity missed i don't see why they wouldn't show it

and I'm not saying Paul is specifically choosing highlights but he definitely chooses different players to do the pre Rams TV interviews so he does care about what is put out and I think he definitely protects his players (weather that's a good or a bad thing) from outside criticism

    It wasn't a main chance.

If he'd passed instead of shooting,  it would have been a very good chance.

Mate, my first post was a joke! You need to lighten up. The rest is just a massive overreaction. I was just pulling your leg and you then tell me to f*** off and ask what's me my problem!

No biggy anyway. As you were.

How dare you joke and leg pull? We have some sensitive souls on here and humour is only allowed if it supports their view point.

Kudos to @ossieram and his D block crew in the South Stand, when it could have got a bit tetchy for the first half hour or so they kept a positive drumbeat (literally) of songs going to get behind  the players. It worked, enough joined in to keep any moans and groans down.

Fair play to Exeter as well for a decent turnout and support for a bloody long journey on a Tuesday night.

We tried to get an atmosphere going,  but it's down to the same few people to get it going and it's getting harder getting the rest of the stand and other parts of the ground to join in.

We only had one person trying to get a Warne out chant going,  a young lad with his hood up and a scarf over his face who didn't join in with any other song and isn't normally up near us, safe to say nobody joined in and I doubt he'll be back up there again.

They decided to leave in May this year - this isn't a new revelation. The decision was made before the new academy manager came in.

A lot of talk around the academy is "would Omari be anywhere near the first team at Derby if he'd have stayed'? The answer has to be no and he certainly wouldn't be getting the opportunities like he is now.

Is he playing for Villas 1st team?

We were the bookies favourites for promotion before season started. So anything less than top 2 is a failure, based on that independent view.

Never known to be wrong that lot.

We were bookies favourites before a player had been signed or a ball kicked!

Feels like a bit of a contradiction. In one breath you’re saying we seem to have areas where being vocal and supporting your team is frowned upon but then detail the various places you’ve sat and never once had anyone ask you to stop. 🤷🏻

I suppose it does seem like a contradiction,  I'm the type of person that doesn't get intimidated and would never be described as being the shy type. I will sing and shout my support no matter where I am, but I do look around to see who is around and wouldn't be effing and jeffing in a stand full of young uns and women.

In the past I've been invited into a corporate box, but always turned it down because I like to be vocal and wouldn't want to sit and just watch a match.

Well ‘you start the chants then’ is sometimes a reply to feedback. Well, some don’t have the confidence to start them, some are sat in areas where you get moaned at for doing so, some have tried only to be shot down.

This is the saddest thing about PP!

We actually seem to have areas where being vocal and supporting your team is frowned upon.

Since Pride park opened I've had a season ticket in the North stand, East stand, South east corner and now D block in the South stand and I've been vocal and started chants in them all and have never once had anybody either shout me down or ask me to stop.
